I heard something interesting today about all these training camp injuries. They say the players are not working out properly in the off season.....its hard to replicate the contact and drills that the body must endure during training camp. Yet, the #1 cause (speculation) was the fact the the players are not training with the same cleets that they use in training camp. The ankles/knee's are not conditioned for all the extra twisting and grabbing that cleets provide on grass. Basically its players training in tennis shoes and then coming to training camp having to wear cleets.

Not a doctor but it makes some sense....especially with all these ankle injuries showing up.

Please, no... anything but that. Well, at least it wasn't a knee injury. I'd be a lot more worried right now if that was the case.

looked like he was holding his shin rather than achilles area. I'm calling either a high ankle sprain or tibia/fibula fracture.

Not bad when you consider the only player who will miss significant time is Lawrence (and Lee if you count him being on IR). Could definitely be worse.
