Injury Updates... (please post here)

Really worried about Sensenbaugh.

Sensabaugh looks like he just had a stinger.

I did not see any serious injuries. A couple stingers, a calf problem. And I think Jenkins got hit in the junk.

Ware was one of the stingers. He played through it and it slowed him all day. But that stuff gets better in a day or two. He'll be fine.

Pardon the ignorance, but what exactly is a "stinger" in regards to an injury? You see it a lot, just not sure exactly what that means...

I always took a "stinger" to be numbness and/or tingling down your neck/spine area after a blow to your head. I didn't play alot of football: but I do remember that happening a time or two: scary.

Jenkins might be singing a high note for a few days. No one else seemed to get hurt seriously. But then one could argue the defense would have had to have played hard to get hurt.

Pinched nerve basically.

You basically either stretch or compress cervical nerves and it can cause partial paralysis to the affected arm, among other things. It's usually not a big deal.

Cowboys strong safety Gerald Sensabaugh has left for X-rays on what has been officially termed a rib injury.

Sensabaugh left the game at the end of the third quarter after delivering a vicious after-the-catch hit to Bucs receiver Michael Clayton. He headed for the locker room in noticeable pain.

Sensabaugh had been playing well on defense and special teams, blocking a Bucs field goal attempt in the first half. Pat Watkins will take his place in the lineup.

Romo did tweak ankle and they taped it tight, shown on TV.

Yep, Jenkins got whacked in the jewels and he was pulling his pants off as soon as he got to the sideline, he didn't care, he was in so much pain. The camera had to peel off.

Was Jones stung at all? Wasn't sure why we didn't see him.

Someone posted about Ware's knee slowing him down. What is wrong with his knee? I thought he got a stinger/concussion early, although it was never cleared up really (thought the injury updates sucked in game).
