If he runs in the 4.70s he's going to really drop. From top 5 potentially to at least the 20's I would expect. Possibly even further. Hopefully the Treadwell at 4 stuff will hault if it does happen.

I said this months ago, he's not going to run very fast just like anquon boldin didn't and he dropped into the second round. However, both are still big time players and someone will get a steal. Put on the game tape.

this is nothing more than bleacher reports buzz...at this point.

Every draft has some underperforming players who look awesome running in shorts that get over drafted and then never produce in the NFL. And every draft has productive players that didn't run or jump as fast or high as people hoped that slide in the draft and become steals for teams.

Big time players playing real games against big time talent(tape) is so much more important than track stars running in shorts.

Until they make these guys run in full pads and helmets I won't care about 40 times.
Even then the difference between 4.4 and 4.5 is insignificant. WR's need to have change of direction, cutting and comeback ability more than running straight line in shorts from track blocks.

Treadwell is a beast, don't care about his 40 time. I don't want to take him at #4 but someone will get a really good WR in the 8-15 range. I can't see him slipping too far. Jarvis Landry was another guy who's 40 time would hold him back from being any good...

Well, see, there is the guy named Jerry rice and this other guy we might know even better named Michael Irvin.....

Treadwell will run plenty fast and then he will go physically take the ball out of the air much like Dez and he'll seem really fast as he runs away from guys he left on the ground.

Treadwell is a complete WR and there are maybe 15 in this entire league.
Any scout that knocks him is a complete idiot.

You really need to learn some basic social skills, calling people idiots and such like if they disagree with your opinion.

Thought you had moved passed that approach already.

Ole Miss star Laquon Treadwell is expected to be one of the most highly sought-after receivers in the 2016 NFL draft, but some recent news could change that.

Why has his stock slipped? How can he change this?

Exactly what I said. The guy is no stretch the field burner. He would be a poor mans version of Dez Bryant. If this offense needs something at the WR position, its a burner.

And what is so great about Jarvis Landry?

The last thing we need on offense is another slow guy. Treadwell is a decent player but if I'm burning a premium pick, the guy is going to prove he can get separation, especially in this scheme.

Give me Braxton in the third instead. He can return kicks too.

Are you calling treadwell the next Jerry Rice or Michael Irvin? Give me a break. He is the #1 rated WR in an otherwise bad WR draft, nothing more. And as a compliment to Dez Bryant, he is a bad choice.

I will gladly stand by my statement here.
Unless you are employed as a scout you probably shouldn't take it personally.

As to my social skills that is also probably accurate. I am not sure I'll ever master nicely calling an obviously stupid football opinion stupid.
