Instagram: Dez Post Signals Return

You still haven't answered the question about all other pass catcher. Even the biggest Dez supporters acknowledge that he had a bad year, I know I do. He had too many drops but some are afraid to point out that this team's inadequate passing game had a lot to do with the qb.
If you knew what you were talking about you would know I've criticised Dak for many things along with other players but the dezzies ignore it and take any Dez criticism as hate and not looking at other areas.
I don't care about other pass catchers. Dez is the one I've had no faith in ever since the Seattle 2017 game. I'm over the drama and lack of production.

This is actually a perfect example of why you don't move on from a player without a solid replacement plan. We jettisoned our backfield and replaced them with Nolan Caroll (bad FA singing) and rookies. While this secondary revamp may work out, it cost us games as the rookies didn't really come into their own until the latter half of the season and Caroll sucks. Are you ready to throw another season away to replace your #1 WR because I can tell you they do not have a viable plan to replace him.
If they're looking at other WR's then obviously they have a plan.

When you know a player isn't the answer, you need to move on from them. You don't continue to pay premium salary when you can get out of the contract. He needed to be cut in 2015 when it finally made sense to cut him and find the replacement at that point. They held on to him 2 years too long. What did that do for us? 4-12 in 2015, and 13-3 with no playoff wins with him not making any big impact.

Dez gets cut and easly does 1200 yards elsewhere. He is not the issue.

Did they get them? Nope.

Do you see how much WR are going for in FA? I suppose you could have replaced Dez with Albert Wilson and kept the same cap #, but no thanks.

I never he said he was the "issue". I'm saying we aren't suddenly going to stop competing for SBs if he weren't here. Unless I've missed a season where the team actually accomplished something. I know we did have that one really good chance and someone forgot to protect the ball on 4th down.

Cutting Dez at this point is a really boneheaded move. Any receiver we get in FA will be a significant downgrade and any WR drafted will not be able to replace your #1 wideout this year (or, perhaps, ever).

That depends on how well you think Dez plays. His stats are artificially inflated due to us forcing him the ball. Plus you have to factor in the distraction factor Dez brings to the table.

I knew Dez wasn’t going anywhere. Look at these contracts these WR are getting. Let’s get our O-Line straightened out and get our new WR coach to get some new pass plays set up. Get Dez the ball and let him do what he does. Only not fumble.. lol

Well you get to see him 1 more year at least.

If Dez goes 85 catches for 1300 yards and 10 tds what will you say then?

This goes beyond Dez. Look at Beez numbers. A lot of our WR had down numbers. Our whole Offense including our QB was off. Opposing defenses really had a good game plan against us. Started with that dismal game against the broncos. Our staff never really tried to change much. We run the plays and they tried to stop us. They succeeded more than the year before. It helps the defenses when they know when and where they are gonna be attacked.

How dumb is this post? You just signed him before the 2015 season and you want to cut him after Cassell, Weeden, and Moore were the qbs. Your hate has no bounds.

Oh, the hate I must have and how dumb I must be. LOL. We didn't sign him before the 2015 season. We signed him in 2012. We could have gotten out of his contract in 2015 without killing the cap and should have made the move then because the guaranteed portion of his contract had been paid out. Now, tell me how dumb I am again because I didn't want to continue overpaying a defensive back that had stopped making plays.

Are you always this dramatic?
