Ok...lets assume they are loses?? Its a good bet!?

I would make it a bet but I never bet against my team. We have too many tough games outside of our division this year. We'll need to be 4-2 or better against the East this time around.

Now if our division rivals fall back and we only need 10-6...maybe that changes the equation.

Giants ran the ball so much better than the Cowboys did in this game. They averaged 4.7 yards per carry, and the Cowboys only 3.7.

Zeke only had 51 yards on 20 carries.

In this one game if you were an uneducated fan you might have thought Alfred Morris was better than Elliott, which is obviously...silly. But Zeke took a few games to get rolling last season...and then he was a steamroller.

The first two games of the season were spent reading posts on how Morris was our best RB and Zeke wasn't ready for the league.

Good times.

I have a strange hunch the 2016 Cowboys are due for some winning after that tough Giants loss. We'll see.

Next up: Instant Replay Game Two: Commanders.

The Giants are gonna be tough, but that should be obvious to everyone. Last year was the first year that all those free agents on defense played together and got to the learn the system...plus that Landon Collins is a freaking beast at safety.

Go cowboys!

Tim Cowlishaw had a write-up on the NFC East battle this year.

He seems to think we're looking at the wrong two teams.
That Dallas and Washington, not New York, are the real contenders.
He feels that compared the New York, the Skins don't have any glaring holes. That the Giants oline still looks weak, and until that's fixed they will have issues in the run game and with sacks.
Meanwhile, Washington has the easier schedule among the three teams and he thinks that Dallas having to play both Atlanta and Green Bay instead of the lessor teams could make it close.

The Skins biggest off-season loss was coach Sean McVay. I'll be curious to see how well Cousins plays without him around.

That is a good point about schedules. When you are playing really good opponents you are in close games. Close games are often decided by single plays that don't always go your way.

die hard fans--- I firmly believe how we play Giants game one will determine what kind of team we assembled this year...you can bet LG will be nailed down before end of TC..and if we can stay healthy especially on "O" line...will go to how we handle " Snacks" in game one...our zone blocking scheme must be mastered sooner before later because we cannot afford to fall in game one to Giants and make 4 losses in a row to these chumps....i believe we will have a superior offensive scheme to the giants D
and it will cause fear to the rest of the league
