Instead of all this Romo talk, what happened to the running game?

I'm talking about specifically in the first half. We couldn't get anything moving at all on the ground. We missed a lot of blocks. I remember a sweep to the right where Fasano completely ran by the Giants LB. Julius was stuffed in the backfield.

Hopefully, Julius can have a big game again against the Panthers.

The OLine just played an all around terrible game..

Credit does go to the Giants defenders though because they were just swarming. Even when Julius did shake someone off, he didn't go far after it.

Julius did some serious damage in Carolina last year, hopefully it'll be a repeat.

Agreed. On the drive that Romo threw the pick on that 'screen" I was begging them to run a draw. They were set up perfectly for a draw.

The Giants knew they could send all kinds of defenders to stop the run and the pass because if you get to Bledsoe quick enough, its over.

Romo will open things up a lot.

I mentioned this in the game thread right when it was happening.

11 minutes to go, with the momentum, driving down the field, call some running plays to mix it up. There is absolutely no reason to get ancy. This is coaching 101, and I'm not even a coach.

But, it never happens. What does happen is the interception to JJ on the screen on a play where a hold was so obvious the refs must have been blind to miss it - or they just turned there heads and let it go because we were playing in Giants stadium...wait a second, no we weren't.

The Giants have always been tough to run against and they just shut us down tonight. Our O-Line was horrible in all phases of the offense, particularly the right side.
