broken ankles, I prefer to look at the bright side.

No one is more choked at the loss than me, but I never expect to win a divisional road game anyway, especially given the Piggles have had this day ciricled since, oh last November. We will crush them at Texas Stadium in December so that will even things out.

I wish we hadn't blown the timeouts because we could have tried a run or two from the three at the end, but it happens.

Positives for me, we didn't quit even after anything that could go bad did in the first three minutes. Even after Bledsoe's INT in the fourth, we still fought until the end.

Jones is still running well as is Barber.

Our d didn't perform well but our corners were fine, Watkins was burned twice, but you have to expect that from rookies. No one looked more upset than he did.

I think, just like in game one, our boys read their press clippings and saw themselves as SB champions already. Everyone except for a few picked us to win. Now the mediots are falling over themselves to say this is what you get when you pick up Owens, etc.

We will be back and 4-2 before our road trip in late Oct, early Nov.

We will still only lose three more this year and finish 11-5 and division champs.

Finally someone who still "BELIEVES." Yeah Bledsoe sucked today, but I believe this lost will help us become a better team. I feel sorry for the TEXANS because the 'boys will come out strong next week. I figured this would be one of our 4 loses (Jags, Eagles, Giants, and Panthers). So hopefully Bledsoe can settle down and become a "smarter" QB and we'll finish 12-4 with a division title. GO COWBOYS!!

The only real negative I took out of this game was Drew. The busts in the secondary bothered me, but I think those are more easily correctable than Bledsoe's issues.

Bledsoe looked like/played like Vinni today...no doubt about it.

Its disappointing, b/c we had a real chance to win this game.

What in the name of Tex Schramm gives anyone on this board HOPE that Bledsoe will improve his ability to handle pressure?

That hasn't changed in 13 years and it isn't about to start changing now just because we wish it would.

Especially the first one where Drew called on with 8 to go in the third on 3rd down and he proceeds to get sacked or threw a horrible pass or something. I was like, we used a timeout for that?

Good post. Lost in all of this Bledsoe blame has been how hard he ran on the TD he scored and the 1st dwon ina crucial time. He was battling a defense who came to play together today. Tip your hat to the Eagles defense I say.

not true. Bledsoe being immoble is not the problem. He's not the first QB to not be fleet of foot. Dan Marino comes to mind. The difference is he had a quick release. Immobile QB's usually get the ball out quick. Drew holds onto it too long trying to make a play. I think if he didn't hold onto it so long, his lack of swift feet would be tolerable.

took him about :20 to get there...lol. you know you're slow when you barely outrun a defensive lineman for a first down. The Bledsoe/Darwin Walker scramble was hilarious.

He got in, that's the part that counts.

I agree. Short-term, this game hurts but it's nothing that can't be overcome with this much time left in the season. In fact, there are plenty of positives you can take out of it - including how Dallas was able to stay right with Philly in a terrible game by the Cowboys.

My big long-term negative is that this does nothing to inspire a ton of confidence in Bledsoe. He scares me. I think he's a class guy, and I love his arm. I just worry about how he repsonds to what he's going to see from good defenses. That inconsistency (or whatever you want to call it) concerns me.

Drew did show huge stones running for the TD and for the first down early in the third quarter.

He has a number of faults, but a lack of stones is not one of them.

He seemed to play worse after those runs and I wonder, if like in the Jacksonville game, if he somehow was injured. The throw at the end didn't shock me but the miss to Owens on the drive before did. He always has the arm strength to it there so his bad underthrow was shocking.

Also on most of those sacks and pressures, the blitzing LB was hitting bledsoe before he could move away from center. I don't care who you are if the D is gettign you that fast there is nothing you can do.

This all goes in to the point I have been trying to make.

Some fans think Drew is all to blame. Others want to pick on the safeties. Others may pick on the line.

I happen to think there were a lot of things done poorly today by a lot of people, and the result is that Dallas got beat.

The bigger concern that I have is the "bounce back". I think the O-Line will have better days. I think the secondary will shore up some of their issues. I guess the reason why Bledose may be getting so much burn here is because many are afraid that he is what he is at this point. It's a little scray to think that our QB may get some serious pressure and not be able to hit an open receiver for the rest of the game because of the perceived pressure.
