Interchangeability of Linebackers

I have a question for someone more knowledgeable than me on this. How different are the left and right side for both OLB's and ILB's in a 3-4 defense? I've heard that Wade wants to move Ware from side to side depending on how the offense lines up whereas Parcells didn't. Is there really much of a difference between the two sides? How about with the inside linebackers?

I ask because it seems like we have enough depth to do some mixing and matching. I was wondering if that's an issue when rotating Ayodele, James, and Carpenter for example.

with OLB, sometimes teams will send a TE to that side, and make the OLB take on the TE, slowing his pursit to the QB. ILB have differnt coverage responbilites i think
