Interest in TE Tyler Eifert?

You can draft your own OG with all the picks you can get trading your backup QB. And I’m talkng about Wentz here.

Oh we don't really need an OG, i was just taking the opportunity to gloat about Dallas Goedert.

So Brooks is going to be out next year huh? Either way.. DEAL

He'll be back at some point during the season, but we'll slide Martin over to LG to give Peters a little help in his waning year(s).

Peters - Martin - Kelce - Brooks - Johnson

I genuinely think Martin will be a HoF lock before he hits 30. Deal!

Some guys aren't meant to play football but still insist on putting on the pads. That's Tyler Eifert and I'm not sure why he's getting so much attention - 2015 was a long time ago, and he couldn't even finish that season.

He should retire and we need to stay away.
Yup. Nailed it 1000%! Can't imagine why anyone would be interested in bringing in this walking injury!

You're definitely not upgrading yourself for 2019. And if you're not doing that, when are you investing a draft pick on getting one? That would be my question.

I know Eifert has a huge medical red flag due to injuries. And rightly so. But where else would you find a potentially top 5 TE to come in and have that impact for Dallas in 2019? People want to say Jared Cook, but good luck outbidding Oakland. They like him far more and have a lot more cap money to spend on him.
They'll pick up a mid level fa as insitance and take a te high. Guessing they package one of the 4ths to move into the 2nd to take whichever 1st round rated one they have that falls!

man, I would love to see a reasonably-priced Eifert in Dallas if Moore decides to use the TE to do more than block....the problem with Tyler is that if he were in the game, is it a certainty that he would be in to catch and not block? the defense would know this...

...I am torn on this one (oh drat, you can't use that word around him....my bad)

OMG please people! Eifert is the Romo of tight ends. He cant stay healthy and its only getting worse. Why take away from development of Jarwin just to invest a lot of time into a guy who will get hurt.

Nah, Eifert is far worse than Romo. Actually, he might be the most injury prone player I've seen come into the league in a long time - if he reminds me of anyone, it's Bob Sanders for the Colts.

Cheap option and red zone beast, WHEN he's healthy......

This was his 2018 one year contract with Bengals

He's never healthy, though.

Just take a long look at Lee on our team and you will see a carbon copy. Part time players are not worth the money you have to invest in them. Tyler would be a huge waste of resources.
