During the regular season when the Cowboys needed 2 yds or less for a 1st down they ran the ball 77% of the time.

In the Packers game under the same situation we ran the ball 12% of the time (1 out of 8).

Sturm is ripping Linehan for going away from our identity against a team that showed no capability of stopping our run.

We did this in 2007 and were one and done.
Hey, at least we're consistent.

It very well may be an accurate stat (77% regular season), but I am having a hard time believing it.

It's true, Linehan "spit the bit" in this game. He totally went away from how he planned the offense under Dak during the entire season.
The game plan seemed designed more for Tony Romo who was hiding on the bench. Geez, maybe Linehan will get offers.

Man, that is beyond frustrating.

Too bad none of the criticism will matter. Unless Linehan gets hired as a HC somewhere else, we will keep it status quo.

It's great that we do great things in the regular season. But if we're not going to continue doing those same things once the post season rolls around, what's the point in even playing?

and then the game long clock mngt aspects of it also.........we needed to keep Rogers off the feild and capture momentum early

If Zeke wasnt a RKG.......he'd be mouthing off

but really it should be the Vets on the OLine that should be making a point......they have cred

It was unreal. GBs biggest fear was Zeke behind our maulers. There were two statement opportunities in the 1st half to assert our dominance: the first drive at 3rd and 2, and the last drive at first and goal. Both times Zeke was nowhere to be found, both times FGs instead of TDs.

We lost by 3 points.

I wish people would finally understand, especially Jerrah, that we have a serious coaching problem. Yes our defense is bad, but so is Atlanta and GB and they are in the title game.

It's absolutely something that needs to be pointed out and made abundantly clear to everyone. And based on that information, the organization needs to ask themselves if Linehan is the right guy to be coaching this offense.

If anything, I'm shocked that the first number for the regular season was that high? I definitely don't think it applied to 3rd and 2.
