Interesting Tidbits from the Draft Insider. What do you think about the comments referring to Joey Bosa
and Leon Lett not being a huge fan ?

Back in February I reported Jalen Ramsey was atop the Dallas Cowboys draft board and can tell you nothing has changed as the Florida State defensive back is still number one with the organization. I’m told the team has Carson Wentz of North Dakota State as their highest rated quarterback and top three on their board.

Dallas has come off of Joey Bosa somewhat as I’m told Leon Lett is down on the Ohio State lineman. They continue to be very high on Buckeye running back Ezekiel Elliott.

I would have to guess if Wentz and Ramsey were both there for the pick at 4, given that the difference in ranking on their board is 1 vs 3 (or 2 since they said top 3) I would hope they would go for the QB in that case given the impact a QB has vs any other position, as we saw once Romo went down last year. I'd speak differently on this if the gap in their rankings on the Cowboy board was something like 1 vs 7 or even 1 vs 5.
(This is all assuming the insider info on rankings and draft board is accurate)

I'd be happy with Zeke too, if only because it would mean we would run it more and Romo would take fewer hits. (that and Zeke is a great blocker as well as running from what I have seen).

So Lett is now our scout too? Shouldn't we have Bosa go against Columbo to be better judge of his moves?

I like tidbits, but consider this all speculation. Not to mention the board still isn't set and definitely was not back in Feb.

Wentz will not be there and Ramsey is 50-50 at best depending if someone can trade up for Goff. Too much smoke about Bosa without there being a fire. He will not be the pick. Hard to imagine them taking Tunsil. Would be just too much money invested in the o-line. I find it interesting that they had Deion Jones in for a visit but not Jack. Do we know if they interviewed him at the combine or what kind of presence we had at his pro day? Hard to believe someone so highly rated, injury or not, would receive so little attention from a team picking at #4. It isn't like linebacker is a strong area of our roster. And we know they wanted Shazier. I'm thinking they may already be convinced on him and didn't feel the need to bring him in. Deion Lewis an option B on Day 2?

I wouldn't be so sure. Did Cleveland really tip their hand 4 months before the draft? Or have they been bluffing this whole time so no one gets their guy?

If they had Ramsey at 1 and Wentz at 3, they'd be fools to go QB.
The board isn't set yet, but people refer to a board to indicate players they like. The whole point of a board is to set up not only the value of the player but how you value the player to your team, so you don't suddenly select a player two slots lower. If that's the case, they should have ranked Wentz #1

Who is the draft "insider"? I can assure you Leon Lett will not have final say on who the Cowboys draft.

The Jalen Ramsey info was false is it makes this pretty much invalid
