This is a video of Cowboys Hour with Brad Sham, Ben and Skin and they have Travis Frederick and Zack Martin as their guests. It's a pretty good watch although Ben and Skin are annoying.
However, there is one part that is really good starting around the 30:10 mark.. Brad Sham brings up to Frederick that a week or so ago he had said that Zack Martin was further ahead now than he was two or three games into his rookie season (which Sham said is pretty impressive because Frederick was much further ahead than most rookie OL). Sham then asks Frederick why he thinks that Martin is so far ahead of where he was.
After making a joke about it being because Zack was drafted so much higher in the first round, Frederick says:
I just thought it was interesting to hear Frederick say that. IMO, Frederick is one of the truly outstanding centers in the NFL and for him to be saying that about Martin is very telling and matches up well with what we've seen from Martin in the games.
Here at CZ I have mentioned before watching the Senior Bowl and seeing Martin pull out to lead a sweep. As he was bearing down on the poor DB, the little guy made a good decision and just got down instead of taking on Martin. As he went down, he cut Martin's legs out from under him and Martin pretty much dove over him, did a tuck and roll and immediately popped back up and walked back to the huddle.
I've seen football players do it before, but never, ever a 300 pound lineman. It was an incredibly athletic move for a guy his size and I don't think there are many OL in the NFL that have the athleticism to do it.
Martin is some kind of athlete.
Anyway, a kind of fun video overall, but that part is particularly interesting and telling.

"Just watching him, he really has the innate ability to recover from certain situations that I've never seen other people being able to do. He sometimes kind of gets himself into a kind of bad situation, which happens to all rookies (and sometimes second year players). But he can come back and put his hips in the right position or put his feet back underneath him and save the block. Even if it's two yards back or not in exactly the right spot, Zack can save it and still be on the guy instead of letting that guy go. So that's one of those things that kind of adds to it.
"You can just see the athletic ability and the amount of intelligence he has, he has really picked up his position really well, so I think he really is a little bit further along than I was."
