Never could spell his name

I hear he is on the sidelines giving tips to Witten (and not Fasano?) and is saying when all is said and done, people will remember Witten over Novacek

He's on the sidelines, huh?
As a visitor? He's not on the payroll, is he?
If not, jerry, if he has some cash, could do worse than to get Novacek on board

Just intrigues me to think the Cowboys could have some top-rated ex-players like Garrett and Novacek as coaches

:)

I' was one of those none to happy when Fasano was picked last season. Of course when I heard we were going with a 2 TE set, I could understand it but that never worked out because Fasano was simply not NFL ready. Sounds like he is and Cowboys apparently might be planning on using him as an h-back like the Skins Chris Cooley. All this just gives our Cowboys a lot more offensive weapons for Jason Garrett to utilize. But between TO, TG, Witten, MBIII, Julius Jones and Fasano will we have enough footballs to go around. Also understand Hoyte has been catching a few passes as has rookie FB Deon Anderson, whose also really showing something as a ST. Our OL just has to be ready to go.

You got it right, it's Novacek...

And a fine Irish name it is... :D
That's interesting...it always sounded Polish or Slavic to me. Of course I never looked it up to see...

Well you never know. There are some obscure, strange sounding Irish names...They don't all start with O' or Mc :)

My fine Irish surname means to "strangle by suffocation." I learned that by playing Scrabble against my computer and it played my last name. I had to look up the etymology of the word to find out why.

My first name is Irish. It means 'Farm on a cliff' or 'farm on a hill."

Seems there was a London Doctor of the same surname supplying Oxford and Cambridge with truly good quality bodies for their cadavers. Most often cadavers were drunks who died in the gutters. His were first rate.

Then they found out why.

For those at Camp, has Fasano shown much ability to get down field? or is it more short outlet type stuff?

I'm gullible...what can I say?

It's nice to see guys like Novacek on the field helping as opposed to Bavaro.

I liked Parcells, but he never wanted to tap into our own legends heads.

#80 has actually had a better training camp then Witten......really
Good info, CC... Like speedkilz, I'd love to know more.

I'd also love to be wrong about not liking the Fasano pick very much. It would be great if he could contribute this year.
