His account is about training camp battles.

In regards to the Cowboys -- and not necessarily battles -- what are your ideas of what the training camp stories will be? The most interesting scenarios or changing of the guard

To me, the most intriguing part will be how well Felix Jones and Mr. Choice do in training camp.

Can anybody envision a Jones-Choice palace coup? Making Barber more amenable to a lower-structured deal? Or even being traded despite cap hits?

Here's a poll that includes Zack "the leader" Thomas and others.

A wealth of RB power - this is going to be great to see. I know someone posted a thread about where we were 4 years ago. Remembering when we were "happy" with Hambrick starting?!? None of those guys then would even be third string now. Thank you, Parcells.

Rise of Spencer, Ellis Fades - I could see Ellis' numbers drop some, but not a lot, as we work in Spencer in more. I just wish Ellis wouldn't whine so much.

Zach Thomas - This is definitely going to be interesting. I am a little worried since we traded Ayodele away, but hopefully that means we have more faith in Carpenter than Thomas. Not that I think Carpenter is going to start, it just means we feel as comfortable with him backing up Thomas as we would Adoyele backing up Thomas.

Who;s the D-line pressure guy? - Really, there isn't suppose to be a pressure D-Lineman in our system, but if it had to be one, I would think it would be Canty.

Garrett ascends, Wade retreats - Seriously, they both need to ascend. Garrett started off on fire, but the offense faded towards the end. Chalk it up to Owens hurt, or Julius Jones playing like crap (all year long...), or whatever. The offense needs to stay strong all year, and hopefully we will see some more improvement after being in the system for a year. I would like to see Felix and Barber in the same backfield, i.e. New Orleans with Bush and Deuce. And Wade needs to make sure the defense shows improvement, statistically we were a top 10 defense, but it didn't show in a lot of games. Hopefully that was due more because of lesser talent rather than coaching. We will see.

WR Stannback gets his chance - Aaahhhh, Isaiah. I really think this guy can be dynamite if he stays healthy. You can just see the quickness in the few plays he was in. I could easily see him replacing Glenn as our quick, deep threat in our offense if he has the preseason that I think the coaches are expecting/hoping for.

Is Romo Jessica-ed out? - Seriously??? All I can say is how stupid does Romo's ex-girlfriend feel after breaking up with him just before he became the starter? I mean, OUCH! I can see that conversation, "Umm, Tony, I just don't see this relationship going anywhere. You are stuck behind Drew Bledsoe. I mean, freakin' Drew Bledsoe!! The Bills chose JP Losman over Bledsoe, but you can't beat out Bledsoe? I guess that is why you went undrafted." "But Bill says he really likes me, didn't you see the preseason games?" "Uh, yea, they don't count, remember?" "That's not what coach says!" "Whatever, Tony, you'll always be a backup, and only zoners will want you. See ya!"

Pac-Man era and trainee Jenkins - Oooohhhhh, what it could be like with an awesome secondary?!? Don't mind me as I drift back off into my daydream of shutting down the Patriots WRs............

An explosive Special Teams? - Explosive, as in can break the dive tackle of a kicker??? Miles Austin isn't feeling so comfortable right about now. "Oh, Stanback is healthy? They drafted Felix Jones? Umm, coach, I still have a locker right?" "No Davis, we gave it to Scandrick." "Coach, it is Austin." "Whatever, leave Scandrick your helmet, he hasn't been fitted for one yet."

OL re-adjusts to a quicker Jones/Choice - I'm not sure that the o-line has to adjust to the running backs, rather the running backs need to be patient enough to wait for the holes to develop. I don't think that Jones will have a hard time because he has a great burst. And Choice is about the same speed as Barber.

I want to see Roy spend alot of time on the sidelines. On passing situations.. on might be passing situations and no way in hell passing situations.

Is TERRY GLENN Healthy?

It seems strange to me that no-one gets how crucial this is. I Chose Stanback in this poll because the MOST important question wasn't even listed.

Glenn is not even close to healthy. Did you see how he was running in that game last year? Even if we had played another game, he wouldn't have been able to go. Terry has been great for us but it's time for him to put up the cleats and for us to move on. Have a good retirement Terry. Hope to see you in the booth. For that reason I want to see how Stanback and Austin improve. We need both of them and their speed. I think we will see a lot of 4 and 5 wide this year from our offense and that means we have to have WR's that can play.

So a poll of 'the most' and you provide the ability to select all of the choices (I did). :D

I hope Ellis doesn't fade at all, the numbers he put up last year were amazing. Spence spelling him will interesting but heres to an injury free year.

I kept looking for a choice reading: Which UDFAs will make the team?

That's always the most intriguing thing for me. Almost always, some do.

For me its the Pacman era, the development of not only Jenkins, but also Scandrick. I'm still not convinced that Adam Jones will be on the field this season or for that matter even if he is reinstated, will he remain on the field?

IMO, Scandrick's development is almost as important as Jenkins. Does Scandrick have the potential to be a starting CB? I believe that most believe that Jenkins does, but the unknown is what Scandrick could develop into.

Special teams on returns should be exciting...but I remember how bad our special teams were on defense against the Giants...hope that improves a lot.

Would like to be excited about Stanback..but have nothing to base it on.

For me, RBs should be juicy...

D-line pressure guy for me , more specifically Tank . I'm real anxious to see what he does this season and have pretty high expectations . He's had a year to get back in shape , he understands the 3-4 defense now , he's only 26 years old , and at one time was a pretty good player . He seems to be the guy that nobody talks about , and that's justified . Still , I can't help but wonder if he might be the sleeper on this team .

By all accounts he is "healthy" but he's old. To me he is out of gas at the end of a good to great receiving career.

Stanback gets his chance really surprised me.

There seems to be a real yearning for Stanback to show his stuff and emerge as No. 2 over Crayton and in the absence of a RW or Chad.

The one that missing that I would be the only one I would've selected : Who steps up to the plate and makes a case for himself as a starting WR (not inlcuding TO, Crayton, or Glenn)?

That would be No. 6.
Stanback gets his chance (and emerges as a starter)

And I think many here are focusing on him and that happening. Seems to be doubts about Crayton. it worried me to no end when Jerra foolishly showered him with extra money last year. Though jerra's heart is in the right place (in his middle left chest) Crayton will be known as a journeyman and will disappear when Stanback emerges and when or if either RW or Chad come on board.

I hope you're wrong about Glenn. Hurd runs great routes and has great hands but doesn't have the speed. Austin has the speed but his hands are in question. Stanbach has it all but has precious little experience. The only WR that has experience and can really stretch the field is our "old" TG. Jerry's talked about him a couple of times in the press conferences as his main hope for this year. I for one think he's being serious. This is why I think Training camp will be crucial. He's our only true deep threat right now isn't he?
