I am listening to 103.3 and Galloway said that Michael Irvin told him that Pacman told Irvin that the deal is done, but Pacman has to drop the grievance he filed against the Titans. I was wondering if anyone else heard this?

It seems like it's just a matter of time. IMO Bud Adams has been in a drunken haze for a week and looks to now be sobering up.

Was there any mention of what the final deal might be? As in: who blinked?

Just heard it. Basically they said "it was reported" that the Titans told Pacman they'd go ahead and trade him if HE dropped his grievance against them for money they owe him. Basically we already knew this "wrinkle" about the bonus.

Heard just a couple of minutes of that during Irvin's show. Supposedly they'd allow a deal if Pac would drop some grievance he had against them for some bonus money they didn't pay him. Doesn't sound that different from earlier reports that they wanted Jerry to pay part of some bonus money back to them.

And like Mosley said, the the players and agents are usually very optimistic, but they aren't the ones doing the deal.

Okay that was the hitch, they still owe Pacman some money. They don't want to pay it because of the suspension and want him to let them keep it to make the trade.

This deal reminds me of the Kidd trade to the Mavs.:laugh2:
This deal has been on/off so many times I've lost count

If this happens, and if he is in good "football" shape coming out of camp, who starts between him and Henry?

let's either get this deal done or move on. I think Jones would be a great addition but not for more than one 4th round pick. I would tell the Titans that was our final offer and if they refused I would walk down the road.

This is rediculous. He has some issues and there is some serious risk with this kid. I think he will come around but you never knwo - see that knucklehead Henry from the Bengals.

This whole deal has ben a circus from the start. The Titans front office is trying to get the best deal they can for the kid and I understand that but they have taken it to a new level with the positive comments from Fisher this week. Give me a break

Henry rides the pine - he is not in the same class as Pacman.

Hopefully it'll help Henry actually play a full season for once.
