Is 4th & Long coming back?

I thought Hawkins had potential on special teams, but Holley's been working really hard with Jenkins and according to him anyway, he's been making plays and he's ready to crack into the active roster.

if he replaces hurd then ok put him on the feild inside the ten and teach romo how to throw a jump ball and thats the only way he would do anything for this team

I dont see why so many are against it. I mean sure the person picked is probably going to do squat for us but i think everyone already expects that. Its better than nothing football related being on dont you think? I dont know about you but the offseason for me is LOOOOONG and it sucks and anything cowboys and football related thats on is worth watching to me.

This, and the fact that every former Cowboy that was on the show agreed that those players went through a much harder regiment than what they were going to see at camp. I thought Michael, Bill and Joe put those guys through hell. Loved every minute of it.

I think they needed the Cowboys brand to even sell the idea last year. If they do it again, I hope some other team is saddled with the ham and egger who wins.

I'm not nearly as down on "Jerry the GM" as a lot on here are, but I thought that whole circus opened Jerry and the team up to a lot of unnecessary criticism.

I would love to see more effort by the organization to highlight the classy Dallas Cowboys image and having part of the roster come from a reality TV show just doesn't seem to work in that direction.

Actually I didn't. I watched the videos that got posted on this site. I was not impressed by any of the players.

If it was Kickers, I wouldn't even watch the videos here.

Hawkins was impressive tot hose who watched the show. He was a tiny little fella but he consistently won the various competitions and looked to be the only guy with an actual football career ahead of him.

He was a slot WR type and special teamer.

I saw him, and I wasn't impressed.

As you stated though, you didn't really watch the show and were certain in advance you wouldn't like anyone. Clips are much harder to get a true evaluation from then watching everything they said and did.

He was honestly miles ahead of anyone else.

Holley was a good raw athlete but he never touched Hawkins in competitions.

None of those guys were great to be sure but if they also ignore the guys who actually perform the best as they did it truly makes it meaningless.
