I often wonder how long this guy will be the coach there. He hasnt done too much since T.O.,and Mcnabb is probably a goner soon.Garcia did give this team a spark last year, but i mean a change is needed eventually. This year may be the end for mcnabb and reid.I dislike Mcnabb,he seems very phony and will not stand up for his mistakes.I do think he is a good qb and would actually be way better off on another team.

If Reid leaves Philly, there will be a ton of teams lining up to hire him.

People make fun of him b/c he is fat and sorta looks like a walrus. However, and 80-48 record combined with an 8-6 playoff record in an era of parity is outstanding.

If Reid leaves, every team with a young QB is going to try to hire him.

Yes they will be. He won't be unemployed very long.

He wouldn't get fired but I could see him stepping down and taking a year off.

The guy just came off a sabbatical to deal with family issues.

No doubt he would be imminently hirable once he desired to coach again but it would make sense for him to take a year off and deal with his sons assorted issues on a full time bases.

Andy Reid is one of the best if not THE best coach in the NFL right now... look at what he has done with the talent he has, it really is nothing short of remarkable. He is a great personnel guy and great at keeping his team focused... Alot of talented players have left that team because of cap restrictions and the FA trying to keep the salaries low to pay off the rent for the construction of that new stadium, yet Reid finds ways to plug guys in even when their drafts are hardly outstanding. I gag at the fact that I am fawning over this guy right now but he really is that good. People need a reality check.

Not only will every team with a young QB want him, almost every team will try to make a play at him.

He's not in the same league as Mike Holmgren. Seriously, has any human being ever resembled a walrus more than that man? I swear he could morph and mold into a walrus at any second and no one would notice.

You'd think those guys would recognize that and shave their mustaches.

What is it with those things. Are they auditioning for 70's porns?

Why not?

Maybe he'll actually answer a few questions.

OK. You are right. I have a better chance with Jessica Alba.

Reid is a very, very good coach and I would take him in a second. But one man that gets overlooked a lot is Jim Johnson, he is a great d-coordinator in my opinion. But Reid has drafted pretty well, developed a lot of his draft picks and has won his share of big games. If he stepped down, it would only be because of the family issues. I have a great deal of respect for him as he truly handles the Philly media and does things his way. In a sense he is not much different than Parcells.

I think Reid is an excellent football coach and he's done a great job in Philadelphia.

But I don't think he's perfect and he's shown me he can be arrogant as well.

His stubbornness has cost him in several areas and until last year, his obsession with his passing game was hurting his team.

If he learned from last season and is sincere about a better run/pass ratio, the Eagles will be a better team.

But overall, he has been great for the Eagles.

As for McNabb, I think Reid has begun to distance himself and where they were once 'joined at the hip', I see Reid and the Eagles planning for McNabb's departure.

Every coach has faults, and Andy has his. And I would say that two that stand out are his game management and his stubborness to not run the ball more.

However, he is a really good coach and if he left that dump, he would have a job in a New York second!

Again, not to hijack this thread, but if Andy would have had a better QB...a QB with a strong mind? He might have already had 2 or 3 Superbowls right now....
