I have to admit, I more then worried about our WR situation. TO is no lock and there are not many more options. Bring Key back? Sure, we can do that but we better hope he does not find the grass greener somewhere else before we act. As it stands right now, we have the worst WR's in the league bar none and no depth. Could we even run a 4 WR set at the moment?:(

He was confident Galloway was worth 2 first round picks and he has been confident Henson is the man. I don't like when Jerry is confident when it comes to these things. I prefer he be worried and active. lol

I hope JJ and Bill didn't paint us in a corner by cutting Key, we really have no choice but to sign him or see if GB would trade Walker for a 2nd. At this point, we look like the worst team in the NFC East and I'am still ticked we haven't addressed the Kicking yet!.

Hell yes I am worried sick that JJ might actually do something stupid like throwing wads of cash at TO to come to Dallas.

About 80 percent of your threads relate to TO, and if not, there are eventually posts in threads about TO, even if they are off topic. He has basically infected you guys, and he will continue to do so if he is signed. As an outsider, I can kind of see how some fans are adamately for him and some agaisnt. It is really tearing you guys apart, but I mean I am not complaining. I personally feel your team would be better without him, bc it causes to many worries, potential conflicts, etc. Plus he totally disrespected your organization with the whole Texas Stadium star incident, I sitll do not understand how even one of you fans could even accept TO on the Cowboys, even if he helps you win.

Hey, there is always something to worry about. The Patriots are actually in worse shape than Dallas is, and I don't hear them panicking just yet.

I think the Cowboys will be fine at receiver. I believe that TO and one more contributor are brought in.

First, what we fans talk about has very little effect on the team. Second, what's wrong with talking about one of the best players in the league possibly joining your league? If Tomlinson was potentially coming to Dallas I would imagine the same thing happening. How horrible that people talk about it!

This is your criticism of TO boiled down. "OMG you guys are talking about him a lot! He's infected your team and is going to ruin it!"

Silly isn't it?

And Im Sure You Just Want The Best For The Cowboys Right???? Im Sure You Would Love To Overpay Randel El Rather Than Have TO Correct???

Randel El:
16 games, 558 yds, 1 td

Owens:
7 games, 763 yds, 6 TDS

Those numbers are worth a $31 million contract????

Why shouldn't 80% of Cowboys be worried about TO? I think the Skins should be more worried than we are.. You just signed two moderate at best receivers for insane amounts.

I think the Dallas staff knows what they're doing...
They've been saving their cap space by staying relatively inactive during FA to ensure that we get TO. He's not going to come cheap as expected after the Skins huge numbers to Randle El and a few other receivers getting big checks, so I think it's smart of Dallas.

We still have what, $22mil in space.. That's more than enough to get TO on board. Had we gone out and picked up every FA that we needed, we would be broke come time to sign TO.

I say don't sweat it, we have the money to get him.. And pretty much everyone we're interested in is still available. Nobody's going to pick up Vinatieri, so we can wait until after TO's on to get him.

Just a pick-you-up from the new guy. :)

One word to you. I'll "spell it out" for you.

D-R-A-F-T

Younger, faster, stronger, fewer injuries, quicker recovery from injuries, less money, and no "attitude" problems.

I haven't seen a mock draft yet that had San Antonio Holmes going before #14. Trade up a few slots and get him if we like. Many have us taking Chad Jackson at #18.

Jerry, himself, said our free agent priorities would be O-line and FS. He mentioned WR as an afterthought.

Get with the COWBOYS program, not your own......

JJ/BP will get it done. And in a manner a heck of a lot more sensible manner than you would.

If you know anything at all, then you know that WR and RB are the two positions that a rookie can step right into and play well in the NFL.

If we can't get T.O. (on a purely incentive based contract) or someone else we like, then we'll get 'er done in the draft. Patience.
