Right now, no but it would be a concern if he can't play any of the pre-season games.

Let him sit and rest. If rest after this knee procedure will ensure he is healthy later in the year that would be fine. And I do think rest will help him.

I would say my concern is in the moderate range right now. (That's a first for me)

Until we know more about the results of the scope I'm not going to panic. However, I do think that Sam Hurd can fill in and do fine. Having TO can only help that situation because TO is Hurds mentor.

You never know when a injury may happen but right now I expect Glenn to be starting all season long.

Not really...Glenn takes good care of himself and this procedure he is having is pretty minor. It is nice to have some depth at WR though.

I'm not concerned at all. Like somebody already said, Glenn takes good care of himself. Besides those knee issues keep referring to are not much more then many WRs at his age but they don't produce like he does. Good grief, younger players have more plroblems then he does. I guess we should get rid of DE Jason Hatcher cause he's a little injuried now. Oh, that's right, young players are allowed to get hurt. TG will probably miss a game or 2 but still play at the same level we have come to love from him.

I agree. Now I would not be suprised if Wade Phillips rotates Glenn in and out of games this season and allows guys like Hurd a bit more playing time than they have seen thus far in their careers.

I'm not worried because every year we hear about how Glenn will not make it through the season, but with the exception of one year, he has played in practically every game since he has been a Cowboy. Glenn doesn't get enough credit for how tough he is or what a gamer he is. He is fast, runs great routes, has great hands and can take a hit as well as anybody. The idea that he is more injury prone than anybody else is a misperception.

All of that being said, we can ill-afford to lose him. The blessing in disguise is that we get to see what guys like Hurd, Austin, Richardson, Rector, etc. can do while TG gets his rest. He will probably be given lots of rest throughout the season anyway.

I am a little concerned, but hopefuuly it is just minor and they manage his reps throughout the season.

I will be surprised if he sees much practice or game time the rest of preseason.

crayton is a posession reciever.

cause that's all we've asked him to do so far. irvin was also a good posession receiver. your point?

crayton has earned his way up the ladder and hurd so far is more or less a camp fancy we have year in and year out of which i could name 6-8 wrs quickly who were the same (jeffers, davis come to mind).

am i concerned about glenn? always have been. his career history isn't the most stable but the last few years have been pretty good. best we can go by. do we need to address the WR in the next draft? oh yea. and i hope we can and do.

if glenn goes down i'd think crayton goes up the charts first. but let's hope that doesn't happen.

last year crayton was the best #3 wr in the league - let's not get cute with him cause the tag may not fit just like you want it to.
