Yeah, the difference being Belichick is pretty much Coach/GM. Jerry is not giving that up while he can still do it.

do people really think Bill’s going to want to listen to Jerry’s input. Or the circus like atmosphere in the draft room or at camp. lol It’s a pipe dream!

Brady is a free agent now too. Maybe Jerry will sign both of them.

Imagine what Brady could do behind this OL and supporting cast. And Bill could elevate our defense.

Super Bowl babyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!

lol, so not happening, man. Besides, Brady is on the downslide. Have you seen him play this year? He's not what he was. It would also take a O-line coach that is competent because our O-line struggled against teams with even a remotely decent defense it seemed.

There's no way Bill would come work for Jerry. Two control freaks? Jerry wouldn't allow the control required for that.

Brady will either retire or play for the Patriots again. Bank on it.

A pipe dream is putting it mildly. We have a better chance of playing poker with the Devil than Bill coming to Dallas.

To those saying it wouldn't work, you realize that New England doesn't have a GM, right?

Notice Brady is thanking "Mr. Craft" more than anyone in his press conference after the game?

Belichick and Kraft work together the same way Parcells and Jimmy worked with Jerry. The difference is Jerry still loves the spotlight.

But going back to Fantasy Land, if the Bucs gave up 2 first rounders and 2 second rounders for Gruden, I can only imagine what the cost is for Belichick.

I think Jerry might be playing poker with him right now. They play every Sunday in the offseason!

Bill.B is year by year

He is also 67 years old and Jerry is 77 years old. Will McClay is very well respected as the GM (in everything but the name) but Jerry has a final veto on the big moves like cutting Dez or firing Garrett.

Belichick may this as his next big challenge and taking the biggest HC job on Earth. Jerry may see it as his last big move. It actually could work if Belichick sees the setup as him focusing on coaching and spending less than 18 hours a day in the office as he approaches his 70's.

Its a longshot obviously, but everything in Jerry's history is that its the kind of gamble Jerry likes to take.

I just don’t believe Jerry would give up his GM
job to anybody.
Well it would be for a short period, like 3 years max and he would get a SB win or 2 out of it, plus tons of media coverage, and on top of that
everyone would want to talk to jerry if he got those 2 here.
