Is Chris Berman from the Philadelphia area?

I just never understood his love for the Eagles who he picked to go to the SB once again for the 9th year. I'm wondering did he grow up in Philly? Is he wife from Philly? Does he have close friendships with the Eagles Owner or Andy Reid?

He is a bigger fan of the Eagles than Jaws and Jaws actually played for them. Wonder what Berman's excuse is?

He's a Bills fan and proved it by being the induction speaker for Ralph Wilson at the HoF this year. For years, he picked the Bills and 49ERs for the SB no matter how either team was doing at the time. I can't remember a single time he ever picked us to go.

Picking the Chargers & Eagles is out of character for him but he does have a thing for the Eagles (and Packers).

Great picks in Mccoy/Maclin, picked up Peters for their OL from Buffalo, and while losing Dawkins will hurt, his play was definitely dropping off a bit. Gotta give credit where credit is due, Philly is one of those franchises, along with New England, that know when to cut ties with aging players.

I find it a bit funny that just because he picked Philly, you assume he's a Philly fan. Who really cares who he picks in the first place?

Either way, Philly is gonna be a tough team. They did get to the NFC Championship game last season. I hate them with a passion, but I'm just being a realist. I think Philly is more dangerous than the Giants are.

But the fact that he has picking the Eagles for 9 straight years made me think he lived here for a while. The Eagles made the NFC Championship because the Cowboys collapsed in Week 17. So please don't talk to me about the Eagles making the playoffs because we both know that 3 teams had to lose in one day for them to even be in the playoffs.
