There would be teams interested in Prescott. None will trade anything significant for him unless the Cowboys send additional assets with him.Yes 2011 sounds about right for the Stafford MVP calibre season.
I'm not surprised that Stafford didn't have a higher QBR and it's why to me it's an irrelevant statistic compared with other quarterbacks because the likelihood is that he was regularly chasing games with an indifferent offense and a horrible o-line coupled with a bad defense resulting in many interceptions as what would happen with pretty much every quarterback in the same situation. Conversely he has had more rounded teams at the Rams and largely played lights out.
I'm sure there would be a desperate mug team out there who would give Dak an opportunity but none of the real contenders would touch him.
The Broncos, Texans, Washington, Bears and Patriots are riding young quarterbacks on rookie deals.
The Jaguars, Chargers, Bengals, Chiefs, Ravens, Bills, Eagles, Packers, Lions and 49ers have all paid their quarterbacks.
Seattle and the Bucs have paid vets a team friendly salary.
This leaves the following teams:
Dolphins
Steelers
Colts
Panthers
Falcons
Rams
The way he is playing this season Stafford has another year or two left in him if he wants to keep playing. If he's available I can see the Rams making a move for Burrow. I would be surprised if they go for Dak as he would be expensive and they seem a well run organisation in terms of assessing a player's worth and I don't think they would value Dak as highly as the Cowboys.
Dolphins, Colts, Panthers and the Falcons are all definite potentials for Dak Prescott and imo the best he could get on the market. Arguably all of which have less chance of making the Superbowl than the Cowboys except perhaps the Falcons and potentially the Panthers given the state of the division and the NFC is typically weaker than the AFC.
Seattle would also be a potential if they moved on from Darnold but again, for the price they would have to pay Dak...why would they want to double the quarterback salary when the production may not be too much more?
I think Dak and his fans would be surprised at the lack of interest in him on the open market from good teams unless he was willing to take a fair hair cut on his salary. Whereas I think teams like the Rams would be willing to pay someone like Burrow around $55 million a year.
I said Dak will do what he has the last 10+ years. Earn some stats in the regular season and go nowhere.
Right again.
Then your "imagine" Tell some story that you can imagine. And you're absolutely right. He's third in the NFL in most quarterback categories outside of interceptions.
Just imagine if all of our players were playing at a level where they were ranked third in THEIR positions..... imagine how good the team would be if everybody pulled their weight in production.
I said that Dak would be playing top 10 football this year. I was wrong because he's playing top 5 this year.
Oh, I definitely won. The Cowboys beat the struggling Eagles and Chiefs. Those are facts...
Vegas didn't think the CHiefs wouldn't make the playoffs, but they were wrong. So they thought the Chiefs would beat the Cowboys, but they were wrong. So your example of Vegas says nothing. Further, the empirically demonstrated fact is the Chiefs were not good this year, which is why they didn't make the playoffs. So you are wrong.
The Eagles are mediocre and were playing like garbage when Dallas beat them. The scores I listed proved it. SO what if Dak outplayed Hurts, as the empirally demonstrated facts are that the Eagles offense was playing like absolute dog doo. SO Dak beating an offense putting up 10 pts and 7 pts in the previous games proves what I said, as you wetre wrong again.
Plenty of QBs have outplayed Hurts and Mahomes this year, going by your new standard. Which would mean that these QBs liek Dak are elite and top 5 according to your standards.
You see how it works. Whatever you say to defense your boy is complete garbage. WHat is true though is the Eagles and the Chiefs are NOT the same team as last year and were playing and are playing mediocre football.
Those are the facts and like I said, you lost. So hold the L again..
So close of a good post....then this. You were doing pretty good until you said that I defend Dak and call him elite. I'll cash app you a thousand dollars if you can find any post of me calling Dak elite.
We as a team beat the most recent Superbowl participants 4 days apart. That has never been done in history.
As one of our beloved posters here would say..... "Facts over feelings".
Now go ahead and take this L and hold it lil bro.
NoThis is an argument..... just sayin'. He's disspelling some narratives today. Becoming the all time Cowboys passing leader and getting the win against a team considered the best in the NFL by lots of people. What a time to break the all time record.
And the idea that he can't come from behind. I know just one game doesn't erase a career, but it's a good start of things heading in the right direction.
He's the only one .500 or below that is getting a heap of praise. Mahomes, Allen, Maye, Stafford,.... and maybe Jackson are all above .500.... he's gonna get a mountain of praise by the media this week. Better get your curls ready.... it's happening whether you like it or not.
How many other quarterbacks in the NFL have had the following resources on offense over the past 10 years?
4 x All-Pro offensive lineman (at least 2 of them are likely to make the Hall of Fame)
3 x All-Pro wide receivers (one not with Dak but after he left the Cowboys with Josh Allen)
1 x All-Pro tight end (chance of making the Hall of Fame)
1 x All-Pro running back
6 x Pro-Bowl offensive lineman (one after leaving the Cowboys)
4 x Pro-Bowl wide receivers
2 x Pro-Bowl running backs
2 x Pro-Bowl tight ends
+ George Pickens and Javonte Williams will both at least make the Pro-Bowl this season.
In addition to having one of the best defender in the league over the past 4 seasons and other All Pros on defense. There has been talent on the defense during several seasons with Prescott as the quarterback.
I can't think of any other quarterback having the above talent on the offensive side of the ball and it wasn't for one or two years, Prescott has had talent throughout the entirety of his career.
Mic drop...
Hurts really has to be on that list as well. Take away his awful game against the Chargers he has been fine overall this season. He has generally been excellent over the past few years whilst his performances in two Superbowls were right out of the top draw. Not too many quarterbacks will put the team on their back and help the offense score 35 points in a Superbowl and lose. Plus I'm taking a guy I know can and will produce their best on the biggest stage and that's not something we have really seen from Dak Prescott to date. It's all well and good caining the likes of the Giants and Washington but where was he when needed in those play off games against the 49ers?Allen Jackson Rodgers ( they’re going to the playoffs w/o Pickens ) Mahomes Burrow Goff Caleb Williams much younger getting better & better Bo Nix same Stafford Maye …that’s 10 so far .
The real question is Jerry the worst GM???This is an argument..... just sayin'. He's disspelling some narratives today. Becoming the all time Cowboys passing leader and getting the win against a team considered the best in the NFL by lots of people. What a time to break the all time record.

My post was in relation to Dak's tenure as the quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys i.e., over the last 10 years. Have there been any other quarterbacks that have had as much or more talent than him during that time then I'm all ears.I was going to throw you a whole list of facts but ima kill your argument with these lil gems real quick..... now you've said, you never seen a quarterback with that much talent over the course of a career, correct?? Cool.
How many of those players Dak played with are HOFers? How many HOF coaches did Dak have?
Jim Kelly had multiple HOF players AND a HOF coach and that won him how many Superbowls??? ZERRROOOO!!! Whats worse, playing with pro bowler/all pros and not winning a Superbowl?
Or playing with multiple HOFers, HOF coaches and not winning a Superbowl?
So to try and create a false narrative that Dak had the most talented players during his career than any other quarterback in history without winning is a total lie my guy. Very creative however!!!
Yeah.... mic picked up and dropped again.
Has Dak even played in an NFC Championship game?I was going to throw you a whole list of facts but ima kill your argument with these lil gems real quick..... now you've said, you never seen a quarterback with that much talent over the course of a career, correct?? Cool.
