Is Dak back in the MVP conversation?

Lot's of truth about winning records.

Fwiw though, Drake only throws for 8.5 yards per game less than Dak. He throws it plenty. So does Stafford
Be careful with averages. They can be misleading. Does Drake have that 350 in him if he needs to win? We'll see.

I dont care about this, show me the same caliber of play in the playoffs and then I'll get on board. Still waiting.

he's throwing for close to the same yards, with a higher rating, ypa, and %....uh, I think he has it in him

but he is still really young. Sky is the limit but I'm sure he'll have kiccups along the way like everyone else.

He has. But they're going to vote for the QB with the best record. Maye doesn't throw for 300 yards because he doesn't have to. Dak had to in several of those wins. They won't take any of that into consideration. How didn't Barkley win MVP last year? If there was ever a case for a RB, that was it.
Agreed. That's why I say these biased polls for MVP are a darn joke!

Maye also has ZERO 4th quarter comebacks and ONE game winning drive. Stafford has one of each. Dak has 4 comebacks and 3 game winning drives. So he has been far more impactful for his team's wins than either of those two. Dak leads the league in on target throws with 321. Maye is 14th with 267. The fact that he still is completing 71% of his passes tells me is receivers are bailing him out at a high rate. Stafford is 5th with 287 on target throws. His bad throw percentage of 18.7 is 6th worst in the league among qualifiers. So his guys are also helping him out a ton.

Like it or not, all of the numbers will go into the MVP evaluation not just TDs and INTs. That's why Dak's QBR is higher than these other two guys.. well higher than everybody's frankly.. Dak's play has been more impactful towards his team winning games. Don't read that to mean the team won ... because we all know a guy can play great and his team still lose because the other TEAM plays better.. ask Patrick Mahomes about Thanksgiving. So people just citing the obvious stats like yards, TDs and INTs are only looking at about 1/3 of the picture. And maybe the MVP voters will do the same.. and they will be wrong to do so.

As stated before last night, Dak wasn't even in the MVP conversation.

His individual stats now read as 26 touchdowns, 10 interceptions.

Team record of 6-6-1.

Those are Ryan Fitzpatrick type numbers.

I presume people are just trolling and/or deluded beyond help at this point if they genuinely believe he's an MVP candidate.

“Dak back in the MVP conversation?" After last night’s Detroit game? Let’s be honest — Goff looked way better, made clean reads, and made plays under pressure. Dak? Still relying on his top WR, perfect line, and coaching scheme to carry him.

MVP isn’t about stats in a padded pocket or highlight reels — it’s about elite performance when things get ugly. And last night proved exactly why Dak isn’t in that conversation. Facts > feelings.
