I read somewhere that there is a possibility that the next CBA may very well calculate the salary cap for QB's differently than other players. Maybe they will count only 80% of the actual salary. For example a QB making $20M will only count $15M towards the cap. This frees up cap dollars to sign other players.
It's just a rumor and a long way from happening, if at all. But if it happens, it would really help with the Prescott signing.
