Is Dak Prescott worth 25 million dollars a year?

Tom Brady

I said superstar quarterbacks, not referring to ones with tarnished reputations. He's a lousy individual, who's stupid enough to think the general public fell for his lies. The "Deflator" nickname for the equipment guy referred to his ability to lose weight, and NOT to deflate footballs. Uhhh huh.

You may not like him. And that's fine.

But if Brady is not a superstar QB, then there is no such thing.

With the new deal Derek Carr just signed....he has set the new bar for QBs.

Question I have is...Is Prescott worth that kind of money?

Because you know if he has anything close to a season like he did last season...He's gonna want that kind of money....And probably sit out until he gets it.

IMO a deal like that....would be worse than the Tony Romo deal...And look at that debacle. A team on an up swing...and we can't do nothing in free agency to get us over the top...and let key people walk in free agency...because we just didn't have the money.

Comments?

After the SB win this year, he's gonna be able to ask for more than 25 MPY when it's his turn. Perhaps he leads the Cowboys to a couple Superbowls before his current contract is up and demands 50 MPY. If those are our problems, COUNT ME ALL IN!!!

If Dak turns out to be a top NFL QB then the Cowboys will have to pay him as such. What you "feel" he's worth is irrelevant, the market is what it is. Lots of supposed free enterprise fans suddenly turn into communist pants-pissers the second it inconveniences them in some way. The price he can demand in the market IS his value, period. If he has a Pro Bowl caliber season he IS worth $25+ million a year. You might as well piss in the wind and complain about the weather.

He's a superstar charlatan, I'll give you that. What's more, I'd NEVER want him to be part of the Cowboys. Keep his cheating ways away from the organization.

If the Cowboys go deep into the playoffs, or all the way, $25 million may not be enough. Why? Jerry overpays, we all know that. Two, Prescott is something special/ I watched the Steelers game form last year on NFL channel, and Prescott looked like an all star to win the game, along with Elliot. Three, teams that shortcut the quarterback don;t win the big prize. Yeah, I know about Dilfer, and others like him, but it hasn't happened for several years. Four, great quarterbacks are not low hanging fruit on the tree.
