Sure, but Dak owns all leverage there with not signing the tag.

Doesn't want to go to Jacksonville? Won't sign the tag, for example, till the point Jax just moves on with Minshew.

Sorry to burst your bubble but after the Dalton signing Dak and Mr. France have 0 leverage!!!
Dak will sprint to sign his tag bet on it!!!!

Oh yeah, this is one of the least informed posts I've ever seen.
Maybe definitions just arent your strength at all?
So, you're saying a player who is good enough to make on to a NFL team isn't a legitimate NFL QB? Then, what are they?

We're not to attack other posters, but you're being a condescending boob.

So your definition of a legitimate NFL QB is one that could be drafted in the 7th or an UDFA just as long as they had at sometime been announced on a NFL team even if they're cut before their first snap? Those arent legitimate options at the QB position in the NFL.

Seems you didn't understand that. Hope this helps.

That's a very tall order my friend.
It's sad, BDC. All Cowboys fans should be excited right now with the hiring of new head coach Mike McCarthy, the impressively experienced coaching staff he has put together, executing one of the best drafts (arguably every pick) in Cowboys franchise history, keeping the core talent of players in place while adding excellent free agent pieces, plus Jerry evidently giving Coach McCarthy, Will McClay and staff much reign and say when it comes to this team. Every Cowboys fan should be happy and excited for this upcoming season and many more to come.

I just don't understand the daily skepticism, criticism and denial by some fans at this time.

Get real for once. Dak is our franchise QB and is going to remain our franchise QB for many years to come. You look very bad constantly and daily spewing your Dak hatred. Get a control of your DDS. Seriously.

Your complaints to be directed to Mr. Jerry Jones as his refusal to give Dak that Franchise QB contact leaves a major? if he is, in fact, our Franchise QB for many years to come.
Money Talks and well you get the idea as to what your selling walks!!!

P.S. Now take that Hate talk and keep it in your world not here as it does not apply!

Ok ok, we get it you have issues with posters here who do not support Dak.
As a Mod here you have us all at a disadvantage if we don't agree with you.
Could you at least not join the posse that attacks all the posters here who do not agree that Dak is qualified to be our Franchise QB.
Or just make a rule that only Dak lovers and supporters can only post so we know what to do concerning our future here.
Thanks

Far worse QBs have been traded for first-round picks.

It seems hard to believe that a team like the Bears wouldn't be willing to give up a 1st for a legitimate NFL QB.

Didn’t Sam Bradford net a first rounder...?

a big problem is that most teams have invested heavily in the QB position over the past few years. Doubtful they are willing to cut bait just yet. So the market is likely only a handful of teams. How many of them would be willing to part with draft capital & commit the cash? Who knows.
