I would take him at 27 for sure.

I think we have the right atmosphere and that kind of talent would make a huge difference for us.

We're talking about top 5 receiver upside here and if we put Peterson on this team with Dez, DGB, and T.Will outside then we will score at will.

I want defenders but this guy is an exception because he is such a special special talent.

(I apologize if this was posted already, it's about 6 days old)

I just read about him visiting the Cowboys about a week ago. http://cowboysblog.***BANNED-URL***...sits-by-hosting-wr-dorial-green-beckham.html/

Really interesting. I've said this is one of the players in the draft with off the field problems I'd take a chance on. I have no idea where exactly he'll go in the draft, but it would be tempting to draft him.

Guy is an idiot and a suspension waiting to happen.

No thanks.

Drugs AND Domestic Abuse...what's next.

The domestic abuse thing really went nowhere, just like the Hardy thing, I'm not going to say he did something when there wasn't much proof at all.

The drugs certainly is a red flag. But again, this is a WR with freakish talents. There's only a few players I'd take risks on, this is one of them.

Just because a case does not go anywhere because the person that was allegedly abused does not show up to court or decides to drop the charges...is a little different than a court finding lack of evidence to go to trial or they go to trial and are found innocent...but that opens another can of worms.

It does. But again, when it's something as serious as domestic abuse, I kinda want to wait for the evidence before finding someone guilty.

But even without that, I agree, the drug issue is a big red flag. This is all about if he's worth the risk or not. To me, he is. I can understand why others wouldn't feel that way.

If we are going to take a guy in the 1st round at WR, I really hope it is Agholor. He can be a compliment to Dez and can provide real help on STs immediately. He can help in the running game and there are no concerns about him being out of the league in a few years. I would hate it if we drafted DGB at 27. He might be Moss 2.0 but I suspect that chances are better that he's going to end up being Charles Rogers 2.0.

I've said for a while that if Green-Beckman checks out and a top 5 talent is available at 27, you take the guy. They did exactly that with Dez Bryant. Taking Martin last year moved the OL from a good group to a dominant one, drafting Green-Beckham would do the same for the WR group (and the offense as a whole).

If he is a thug and as bad as some say, I wouldn't spend a 7th round pick on him. But the fact Dallas brought him in for a visit makes me think they do view him as immature rather than a bad seed. He also would be coming into a situation with very little pressure and big names on offense to take the spotlight off him. People always talk about Randy Moss but if Moss had been drafted by Dallas right after the White House scandal, reporters would hounded him nonstop and his career path would have been completely different. Dallas reporters would have invented TMZ just to follow Moss around.

If Green-Beckham is drafted by Dallas it means the coaches think they can develop him correctly, and right now I would give them the benefit of the doubt.
