Seriously.. has ESPN and ED carved out a special role for this guy? Everytime I see him, I know it's something bad. He didn't mess with us all year until now.. a little "controversy" and poof.... he magically appears.

Why doesn't he do any positive/nuetral Boys stories?

I really hate this guy with a passion. What is his agenda?

Yes, he is. And you bring up a great point for those doubters/apologists. Rick Reilly, a former CNNSI employee and current ESPN employee, admitted that it's in the sports media's best interest to be negative about the Cowboys because it draws the most people to the story.

Probably the most bizarre thing that happened this month is Mr. Blue Suit sticking up for Roy Williams in this latest fiasco. Not only is he the resident Cowboys Controversy Specialist, but he's been the resident Roy Hater. I wonder if he'll change his tune against and antagonize Roy and the Cowboys once again. If so, it's a clear sign he knows where his bread is buttered.

It's just so amusing and irritating at the same time. It's like ESPN has been just starving for anything to feed on. "Drama in Dallas".. "Cowboys Controversy"...

Winning cures all!

Don't blame Roy. He may have said some stuff better kept under his hat.

Ed Werder is the rat-fink.

He reminds me of Mrs. Kravitz(sp?) from Bewitched.

The yankees are hated just as much as us, if not more, but they do not get nearley the amount of bad pub. that we get. All I hear on the radio or TV is how great the yankees are and what a great job the manager and GM did for them and this is the making of a dynasty. I tell you, alot of it has to do with east coast bias. Alot of these people that work at espn grew up as yankee lovers and Cowboy haters. They can all kiss my:moon: !

In previous years during pregame warmups, werder would talk to both garretts, brian stewart, skip peete, ray sherman...nearly all the staff.

he used to always talk to witten and crayton and joke around it looked like with a few other guys here and there.

I have not seen one player or coach talk to him during pregame this year. They literally stand with their back to him in the endzone. Even Jerry blew him off before the atlanta game.

He just kind of wanders around talking to other media guys.

He really blew some of his credibility with the organization last year, or at least it appears that way.

He's assigned to the Cowboys no matter what. You only notice him when he reports something that reflects poorly on certain players or conflicts with your version of reality.

Look at the train wreck franchises, like the Raiders with "anger management issues coach" Tom Cable, the Chiefs with Larry Johnson, the deadskins and Browns with there issues, the Bucs winless, after 7 games and the gants on a 3 game, getting blown out losing streak, and still all the focus is on us, because of what Roy Williams said, it is crazy . If that aint media bias than I do not know what is.

I believe there is so much Cowboy hate that ESPN used that blue suited devil last year when things were going pretty good to stir up distractions..Those analyst most of them played against Dallas they have an agenda..Attack Dallas pyschologically..We really need to win in Philly so the Romo/Roy story can go away..Zoners if we lose get ready because Werder has his lies in waiting.

Yeah its crazy.

You know that feeling you get when you are about buy something for yourself or when someone surprises you with a gift or whatever... whatever makes you really happy and giddy!

THAT is how Ed Werder looks when they are introducing him to speak about the Cowboys. You can actually see him stumbling over the words before he says them.

You should of seen Linda Cohn last night on BSPN, when Werder was giving his report, she was loving it, saying things like, "this can cause chemistry problems and a divided locker room". I just hope Dallas kicks egirl butt Sunday night.

Has anyone notice that when a player in Dallas makes some comments that it is called a controversy, but other players on other teams make s comments and it called just a player speaking out. Joey Porter came out and said that the NFL cheats for Tom Brady..where is the controversy in that?

lol. Linda Cohn admitted last year just like mike wilbon she hates the cowboys and particularly romo.

Which is interesting, because a certain sports blog last month was outing espn employees for their extra-curricular activities......Turns out Linda Cohn participates in an activity with co-workers she likes, often.

Pay no attention to her.

Perhaps? Lol... I just can't recall seeing him much this year. Would you agree that he seems to revel in Cowboys controversy?
