Or is this T.O vs. Parcels media creation just going to bring this team together. It'll give the whole team, it's us vs. the world mentality. The Boys are going to circle the wagons. There already is a great comraderie(hope I spelled that right). Now it'll bring Owens closer to the rest of team like a family.(something he has been missing his whole life. No mother, Father lived across the street but he didn't know it was his father. Only found out when he wanted to date his half sister. Owens is the best at what he does , but this boy's got issues.) I think he has found a home. I'am going to get trashed but I'll go on the record by saying he may go down as one of the great Cowboys.

So all you fans out there who have been waiting to exhale go right ahead. "T.O.gate" is almost over. Besides Carson Palmer is a bigger story now

Actaully i see the TO distraction a actaul distraction. A distractoin away from the rest of our team, and our Dominate D. Keep covering TO please, that way i can steal the cowboys D in my FFL :D:D

The whole circling the wagons makes great 8 minute stories on the NFL Network, but in reality it usually never happens. Talented, disciplined and well coached teams generally beat the team that circles the wagons...I could care less who catches Bledsoe or Romo's passes, as long as they are caught and this team starts to play like the talented group that it is. TO is a dope today, and will be a dope next year when he is playing for another team....

Not too far fetched, Juke. Could happen.

It's different. I don't see this as a circle the wagons, "us against them" type of situation.

It's all about one guy and he's not a guy who's been here for a long time.

For instance, if the media was ganging up on Emmitt Smith when he was here, I could see the team rallying.

I don't see it at all in this case. And also, to think Parcells would orchestrate such a thing doesn't seem possible to me.

I don't understand how he has been a dope since he's been here. He's been hurt. The sound bite he gave about ten years of film, Wasn't that bad. I seen the video of the "whole" interview. The interviewer implied that Parcells didn't know him and needed to see him in action. Owens stated he had 10 yrs of film to look at. Owens is the best at what he does he has a right to make that statement. If Jordan had made that statement it's alright. Tiger woods had made that statement it's alright. Gretzky had made that statement it's alright. I say Owens made it and it's alright.

Who said he's going to another team and why would you want him to. You my friend are highly influenced by Mass Media. Owens is a top 5 talent in this league why would you want him to go any where

They will circle the wagons because all of this has been unfair. It's a made up fued over a legit injury. The team can see he is not being treated fairly. The rest of team will see this and get his back because they are Cowboys and T.O is a Cowboy. Some of us here don't have his back because we are only fans

I think saying it'll help us is pushing it a little. I just don't think it'll have much of an effect at all. Parcells will have them practicing hard and well prepared and focused on gameday. The whole TO situation won't affect them at those times, and that's what's important. They may get annoyed when reporters ask them about TO and when they watch/read about how he's the biggest story on the team, but it won't affect them on the field at all.

They are getting annoyed now. That's gonna wear off. Wait till T.O scores that 1st Td probally something spectacular like a 50yder. The whole team is going to go nuts. T.O has the same personality as our young defense and our QB he's fiery and a fighter. I see it now The Boys are going to be doing great things, all you are gonna hear on sportscenter is "Sure the boys are leading the NFC east but wait till the y fall apart because of T.O." that's going to bred alot of anemosity. This team will circle the wagons. You see many hear are under the assumition T.O isn't one of them, he is.

IMO, Owens doesn't have that kinda relationship with this team yet. In fact, his own team fined him. So clearly, they weren't too thrilled with some of his behavior either.

And as an aside, it's not as if this is some huge situation. It's not as if Owens has been unfairly charged with murder...and his team is rallying for him.

I have a great interview with Lennon and Dick Cavett that I just bought at ebay.

It's an odd thing to say but I miss the guy.

and hey, a connection is a connection.

This is the last post I'll make on this subject. I have my opinions, and I am optimistic. But for you to say it's not huge when it's on Espn all day every day My man you are mistaken. T.O. is being treated badly in a huge way.

Well, I am a big time Beatle's historian so if you ever want me to bore you to tears, lemme know.

I remember watching them on Ed Sullivan when the first came to the US...that's what inspired me to play the guitar.

And yes, there was nothing like it. There are stars...there are super stars...and then there was the Beatles.

In the grand scheme of things, it's as trivial a topic as one can imagine.

IMO of course.

from now until the start of the regular season is good LOL

what was your fav Beatles tune? for me it's "Imagine", that's the one with the line, "something in the way...you move, attracts me like, no other lover"? what a beautiful song, I could chill on that all day, I got the CD w/ all the Beatle's #1 hits, but I think they should have added "Lucy in the Sky" just because it's a great song too, and "I am the Walrus"
