Is it time to declare Claiborne a bust?

I think so. He's played so poorly, that I think he's got too far to go to even be an adequate CB. And with a Wonderlic score of 7, he's not capable of learning how to play the position at the NFL level.

I disagree and wonderlic is not going to determin if a guy can play football or not since none of the question have anything to do with the game. I think injuries have slowed him down. I do think this is a critical season for Claiborne but do not consider him a bust at this time.

Yea. Definitely a bust. There is absolutely, 100% no chance at all that he will even be serviceable. What a waste of a pick. We never draft well in 1st round. Scratch that, we never draft well in ANY round.

What do you think about our 1st round pick from next months draft? I don't even know who he is but I think it's time to declare him a bust as well.

What ashame.

Claiborne's biggest issue is technique. He has to put in the time to improve in that area and stop relying on his raw athleticism, which is enough to be a very good NFL corner on it's own.

The other problem is is confidence takes a beating after getting his *** handed to him every practice by Dez.

Tyron Smith? Travis Frederick? Demarcus Ware?

LOL. My initial post was wildly sarcastic. I actually like the way we've drafted recently.

And for the record, no I do not think Mo should be declared a bust at this point. Kid deserves at least one more year to prove his value.

no, this year, he needs to do better if we (hopefully) have a better pass rush

i think (hope) he can be a good CB, just not worth the 6th pick overall

Ugh, it makes my head hurt that any educated sports fan could ask such an ignorant question.

In short, no, it's not time to declare Morris a bust, and it's weird how quick fans are to throw around that word.

how long have you been coming here? lol You will always have people who put guys in the HOF way too soon and others who call players bust way too soon. If you look at Irvin 1st 3 years in the league I'm sure many had him labled as a bust.

Troy Polamalu was thought by many in Pgh to be a bust after his first year. Polamalu played better his second year.

Hopefully, Claiborne will get it all together this year. I thought he would play better last year but he regressed.

So Mr. Knowitall, why do you think he will be any better than he has been?
