I think he should be a contender for both MVPs, but there are too many stat padding QBs piling up numbers against garbage teams for him to get it. I wish we could have gotten him a few more rushing TDs to bolster his case, but it seems like we've been hitting a lot of longer TDs lately. If he had 15 TDs right now, things would look different.

According to Ladanian Tomlinson he isn't even the best RB in the NFL. All of sudden Leveon Bell is the best RB for some unknown reason. I mean I watched NFL Gameday and they were swinging from his Bell's nuts last night. I know Bell's had a good year but it amazes me how people hate to give any Cowboy player for being the best at their position. Murray has run for 100 yards in what all of 1 or 2 games and broke Jim Brown's record for consecutive 100 yard games.

It is close. It amazes me how this award is the de facto best QB or hottest QB award. Because you could make an argument that Murray is the 3rd most valuable guy on the Cowboys behind Romo and Dez.

I personally would NOT make that argument, however, it's not an insane argument either...

It's not close. Rodgers is a far superior player who the Packers couldn't replace nearly as easily as the Cowboys could replace Murray.

I think how he plays over the next 3 games will determine if he wins the MVP. I think making the 2000 yard mark and helping push the Cowboys into the post season could go a long way into earning the MVP

It's not close. Rodgers is a far superior player who the Packers couldn't replace nearly as easily as the Cowboys could replace Murray.

Murray's not even the MVP of the Cowboys running game let alone the MVP of the league.

How is Rodgers the far superior player. He is not. Murray is having an incredible year and just as good as Rodgers. Rodgers isn't setting records for yards or TD passes. He's having a MVP type year but nothing out of the ordinary for a QB. Without Murray running the ball the way he has there is no way we have 9 wins depending Romo to throw the ball 35-40 times a game.

Don't be silly man.Big deal about Bell. I'll take 8 straight 100 yard games and 11 of 13 overall. I'll also take Murray's 9 TD to Bell's 5 and 74 first downs to 61. The only thing Bell has over Murray is 0 fumbles to 3 and a .1 YPC but there is no way Bell is better than Murray.

Well Murray has 5 fumbles...

Bell also has nearly 700 yards receiving. I think, total, Murray only has like 80 yards more than Bell. And Bell plays on a team with a horrible OLine.
