Is it too much to ask for this Saturday?

Is it too much to ask of this coaching staff and the players to just go out there and lay it all on the line. Forget about the last month of the season and just go out there like their hair is on fire on both sides of the ball. For me, if we lose the game, I would be at peace as long as our guys give their full effort by flying to the ball defensively, being aggressive like we were in that Indy game, and with the coaches just take a few more chances on both sides of the ball. I mean, being overly aggressive could be costly but hell, being conservative and staying within the schemes ain't working. What we've been hearing is our guys coming out flat, playing with no emotion, having no sense of urgency. Just this one time, is it too much to ask that they adopt the Tom Cruise "Risky Business" philosophy of "What the..." and just play ball? I'll end this with the quote from the movie replacing "Joel" with our guys.

"Dallas Cowboys, you wanna know something? Every now and then say, "What the ...." "What the ...." gives you freedom. Freedom brings opportunity. Opportunity makes your future."

Again, if our guys, from Parcells all the way down to the 45th man on Saturday just lays it on the line and gives an all out effort, I can be at peace if things do go our way. I'm done with the doom and gloom. I'm just going to cheer for my Dallas Cowboys as we have at least one more game to play.

I'm sure they will 'lay it all on the line'.
But if they lose, you'll say they didn't.
Wasn't Romo 'laying it all out' Sunday, trying for a last-minute TD that would have been meaningless, if he'd scored it?

I want to believe they will. It doesn't seem like this team wants to play anymore. It's like they've given up. They are taking on the attitude of their coach. They don't feel they are good enough to win because Bill doesn't feel that way. I'm really disappointed in the way Bill has handled the team this year. If by some miracle, Bill can change his attitude, then we will go all the way, because we have the talent to beat anybody in the NFC.

If this team does what you proposed week in week out, we wouldn't be playing saturday, instead, someone would be coming to Texas Stadium next week.

If this team plays to it's potential, we will win at Seattle, and probably beat Chicago.

we wont ever see that with this coaching staff, I think thats become painfully obvious, has it not?

what we see out there now is the ebst we can ever hope for from Parcells and Zimmer, and rest of the sorry bunch

Yes he was.

It wasnt necessarily meaningless(in that game anyways)... 2 pt conv and we tie. go into OT
