Im thinking it might be.

When the new TV deals are done the NFL needs to figure out how to flex about 90% of the national games

If this were Wheel of Fortune, I'd be asking Pat to buy an apostrophe for that title. ;)

Getting the Lions off, yes. Us, no.

Itd have to be both.

You either like tradition or want the best games

Lmao..not trying to be a jerk.

It's just that in this particular case it is needed to differentiate two completely different words. Took a second to get what you were trying to say, that's all.

Are you freaking kidding me?

Thanksgiving = Cowboys football.

Without the Cowboys playing, Thanksgiving is just another day.

If they ever even threaten to do that, I'll take out the commissioner with my own bare hands.

Neither...

Leave tradition ALONE!!!

We have established a long standing tradition of playing on Thanksgiving every year...and it just wouldn't be the same without it!

I'm tired of hearing other teams complain about not having the chance to play on Thanksgiving equally...They do! Four other teams besides the Cowboys and Lions rotate to play during Thanksgiving every year, is it too much to ask that they leave the two teams that started the tradition alone?

I really can't stand Goodell, and I have no doubt that this will be the final year we are guaranteed to play on Thanksgiving if that litle dictator gets his way. The Cowboys are AMERICA's team...and we consistently prove that with the highest ratings, the lagest fanbase, and the most revenue generated every year...They NEED us!!! Let the AMERICAN public watch their favorite team during our AMERICAN holiday, and leave the ridiculous politics out of it!

Oh yeah, leave the Lions alone too...lol

The Cowboys on Thanksgiving is one of the few great joys in my life. The tradition in Detroit shouldn't be broken either. I've seen this debate for the past 3 years. Just propaganda to stir the pot every year now it seems.

Again I hate to be the grammar police but... Someone please change the title to "we're" not were.

Dallas should remain on Thanksgiving day... The Lions have a history of poor play and I believe a team like Pittsburgh would better serve in that role.

Did you really? Because I'm almost 100% sure you didn't.

Goodell is smart enough to not cross Jerry on this one.

I believe it was asked by Mike Francesa and he said he would look at anything to improve the game and its up for debate.

I don't know if the Lions have an equivalent tradition (because I usually plan to eat during that game so I can watch my 'boys play), but I've always been proud of the conspicuous emphasis on charity in the Dallas Thanksgiving game w/ the Salvation Army. (Although I do have a softer spot for it than some since my parents were Salvation Army officers and did the whole bell-ringing thing when I was a little kid. My grandmother would even fly in from Ohio to help.)

I think it's a great thing that the Cowboys are associated with the kettle campaign roll-out every year, and I wouldn't want to give that up to some other team just because it might be a sexier matchup.

It would have been fun to watch the Lions/Browns game from last week today, even though we all would have grumbled about that one, too.
