What has this guy ever done? Hasn't had a winning season since 2008, hasn't won a playoff game since 2003.

He is from the buddy ryan coaching tree.
Loves his defense and can't develop a qb.

If he is on the line on draft day don't answer the phone. Like trading with a jersey mobster. Never works out and he loves to gloat about the shrewdness of his trades.

And like buddy a lot of pomp and chest beating without many W's.
Not a fan

he has wasted some good talent. Once he is fired, he will work for a pregame show.

ESPN Job Interviewer: Jeff, do you have any experience working a pregame show on TV?

Fisher: Nope.

ESPN Job Interviewer: How do you feel about the Dallas Cowboys?

Fisher: I can't stand 'em. I once told my punter to purposely hit the video scoreboard so I could stick it to Jerry Jones.

ESPN Job Interviewer: YOU'RE HIRED!!!

The guy some how manages to stay in the league, and have an HC job, despite producing very little in terms of on field results.

I'm guessing he must be one hell of a salesman to his owners in order to be able to do this.

Haven't you heard.

He never really had any talent.
He has had to do more with so much less.

At least that's what I read on forum.

Well...maybe that's the case to some degree, at times, during his career but it's pretty obvious that isn't always the case. I know what you're saying here but I can't imagine anyone whose paid attention to his career, as a whole, could honestly think that's the case for even half of his career. I'd say the majority of his career he's squandered a lot of talent.

I've been saying this for years and feeling like a dog barking at the moon. He even ***** up the nick foles trade by extending him. Wouldn't shock me if Peyton Manning ends up there next season.

I didn't realize he hasn't had a winning season in that long. Announcers do fawn over him for some reason.

he built one good team, and evidently sells himself well.
I would say most nfl head coaches do not make good HC's
They select their HC's from a very small pool of similar ex-player student coaches.

How many of those have good leadership qualitys? speaking abilitys? innovative?
Study psychology? none, they just work the x's and o's and copy what others do.

Bellichick is the only one who has broke away from that to some extent.

Without looking up his career, it feels like he rode the coat tails of a great HOF QB in Steve McNair and caught lightning in a bottle with a young Chris Johnson tearing up the league for a couple of seasons.
