Is Mahomes career over?

Even after that disaster (and probably not repeatable) game vs the NFL's best defense

Total TDs-Total Turnovers Top 10 Rank

  1. Stafford (+28)
  2. Allen (+23)
  3. Hurts (+22)
  4. Goff (+19)
  5. Maye (+17)
  6. Prescott (+17..tie)
  7. Mahomes (+16)
  8. Love (+15)
  9. Mayfield (+14)
  10. Williams (+14 tie)

Mayes is impressing me more and more; what he does this year in the post season will reveal a lot about him.

iF the pats were to stumble onto another excellent QB so soon after losing Brady that would be really unfair.

Pretty sure they did.
Unreal.... and two teams passed him over for other QBs. Good class

His skill set is not the flash-in-the-pan type--where a 1st year player can catch DCs off guard due to read-option etc.

But yes, how much he grows will be interesting to follow. I suspect he's a long-term keeper, but will wait and see.

we should not squawk too much; two franchise QBs in a row with virtually no draft capital involved

It's about match ups, injuries, supporting cast. Sometimes it's not your year. Mahomes is far from done.

They didn’t stumble onto him. They used a very high 1st round pick. Stumble would’ve been if Milton became the QB Maye looks like becoming.

Stumbling is what they did with Brady. And stumble is the only way the Cowboys find their QBs.

Sarcasm, but if Dak had numbers like this, that would be the conversation.
Let me know when Dak makes it to 7 consecutive championship games and 5 total super bowl appearances.

Because making this comparison totally kills any credibility you might have had.

I don't believe Jerry will ever assemble a 20 point or less defense.

It’s not Pat, his team isn’t very good. Kelce needs to retire and they need some skill position players.
in a lot of ways the Chiefs are in the same boat as we are trying to rebuild around a vet QB.
They clearly need work on their Offense on the line and skill positions
the D is good but could use more talent as well

Their big edge besides Mahomes is Reid
