Is Mahomes career over?

You're talking to the wrong guy. I always understood this, but Jerry will sign Pickens anyway.

We scored 509 points in 2023? Who was our WR2?

We are on pace this season for 495 points, with Pickens. Was he the missing piece, clearly not.

We spent $100M more on offense this season. Let's increase gap next year and see what happens.

What could go wrong?
That's why I was saying our 2023 and Dak's 2023 season is very similar to this season (offense only). I suspect if we had a better defense we would be in the same spot as 2023, hosting a WC team from the NFC north or west and we would get embarrassed at home again.

Just basing off our historical performances. One of these days they may turn a corner but I won't believe it until I see it.

in a lot of ways the Chiefs are in the same boat as we are trying to rebuild around a vet QB.
Not even close. Mahomes has a team friendly deal along with the fact that unlike Dak he doesn't need perfection at every position on the team to function.

Mayes is impressing me more and more; what he does this year in the post season will reveal a lot about him.

iF the pats were to stumble onto another excellent QB so soon after losing Brady that would be really unfair.
They have excellent coaching.

no matter how much you wish it does not make it true
Vrabel seems to have learned things from his first HC job
and they are doing very well in talent acquisition
mayes has shown good consistency as well
sad to say there is a very good chance the pats are going to dominate that division once again
And they have like ten or eleven picks this year but most are later rounds. Still, they can easily move about within rounds to make sure they get who they want

It was team friendly. That was only for the first 3 or 4 years. He's slated to make 78 mil next season and 74 the season after that.

You are obviously not aware that Mahomes makes $78M and $74M over the next 2 years.

That is going to be outstanding for a QB who relies on his mobility after tearing his ACL.

seems a simple ACL tear so no reason it should have any permanent effects

dude, everyone is laughing at your claim he is done
he just turned 30
Rodger was still running around pretty good years older
Elway as well
give it up

Sarcasm, but if Dak had numbers like this, that would be the conversation.
And if Dak had Lombardis and MVPs (regular and post season) in his resume and this discussion started after an outlier bad season, it would be a totally ridiculous conversation.

Just like this one is.

He's got a weird obsession with Mahomes. Can't help himself.

It's the Dak fan version of little man's syndrome.

Your past has nothing to do with your future.
