I have watched Mcfadden a few times and watch some videos online of a lot of his scoring runs. Everything that i have scene is very straight running. He has good speed but does he have the wiggle that he needs in the nfl? I'm not ready to crown him all star like I was for peterson.

How can anyone crown him a star like AD when DMAC hasn't played a professional down of football?

Peterson (and Willis for that matter) had two of the best years a rookie has had in a long time.

lmao when AD was in College all anyone heard about was Dmac. Just because AD had an amazing rookie year people doubt Dmac when Dmac enters the league his rookie year should smash AD yes mcfadden is that good

Not everyone. I live in Oklahoma so i heard about, and knew plenty about, AP. My only concern with AP, and it's been there for a long time, was his durability. I've always felt like if he could stay healthy he'd be a stud in the NFL.

His durability continues to be my big question.

I felt the same way about AP but living in Oklahoma is pretty bias i knew he would be a stud. I live in NJ all i heard was about Dmac and of course ray rice overrated ...

Well the only thing that I can say about the bias is that I live in Oklahoma but I'm NOT a fan of any Oklahoma teams. I'm a Nebraska fan. So my thinking him a stud was purely out of admiration for what I saw him do and hating him for doing it for OU.

I dont' like him AT ALL!
Yeah he RUNS FAST, but I just don't see the moves and I ESPECIALLY don't like his legs going COMPLETELY DEAD ala Julius Jones only WORSE upon contact!
Call me crazy but I think Felix Jones will be a better pro and you'd get more value by picking Felix at #28 and the cost wise!

Felix did nothing but hurt himself this weekend. He certainly wasn't as fast as advertised.

He might still make a good pro, but how you can be sure he will be better than McFadden is a little silly at this point.

Sayign McFadden will be better is SILLY also at this point since NONE of us know what they'll do int he pro's.
I'm sure everyone would of called you crazy had you said Emmitt would be a lot better pro then Blair Thomas too!

How did he HURT himself with his run time? He ran a 4.4! LOL
how can you be sure anyone will be better than anyone????
I just said I have a feeling Jones will be a better pro is all!
Cause everyone knows the top R.B.'s ALWAYS Pan out better then the later round picks.
Just my opinion, nothing set in stone!

That clip really got me soured on him!
Sure he's broken tackles, a lot I'm sure, but in that clip, his legs looked like gello, and that's against COLLEGE players, when he gets to the NFL with bigger and stronger players tackling him, not to mention faster, he's gonna have som etrouble IMO cause I don't see the MOVES, I see more of just a SPEED GUY with some moves, but no moves like an Adrian Peterson and some other backs!
All the clips of his big runs were just a simple hole he ran through without making any MOVES, just put his speed on from the get to and ran STRAIGHT line speed is all, I just rarely see any of his BIG RUNS that make the highlight reel of him really making guys miss or breaking tackles, just him running STRAIGHTLINE SPEED to the outside without having to make any cuts!
