Who are the previous FBs in the HOF?

I don't have a point of reference. So without looking at anything specific, I'd say no.

as bad as i hated to i voted no.

he is in my hall of fame .

i guess if he had played for pittsburg, or san fran or ny giants
he might have a shot.

i am sure he is in emmitt and troys hall of fame too.

i would be happy if he got into Ring of Honor....much tougher club
to join and means more to me.

That's not fair to compare him to players who played when fullback was used in a whole different role.

Why would I say Moose is a Hall of Famer? Because he played in a time when fullback was usually nothing more than a lead blocker, and he was the best in the league at it for years. No Moose, and no record for Emmitt. It makes my red how Emmitt will get in the HOF but not a single guy who did the dirty work for him except maybe Larry Allen.

I voted yes because he deserves it.

And because I'm a homer! :star:

I voted no because he was a Dallas Cowboy.

Does he belong? Yes. Would he ever be inducted? No.

Honestly, they will look at his stats and not find much.

This is why all of you think there is a bias - you inflate Cowboy player's values incredibly. Moose was a good FB but he's no hall of famer.

In my mind he is. Maybe not in the Pro Football HOF, but as a man, a lunchpale player, and a broadcaster he is.

The list of overlooked Cowboy players that deserve in the HOF is long. Non-Cowboy fans even agree. Especially from the 70's era. Their on the field accomplishments over shadow others who are already in. That is no over-inflating the value it is stating the facts. It has nothing to do with opinion. There is anti-Cowboy bias. It is real and it exists. To deny that is just ignoring the reality of the situation.

Nope. I loved him on the Boy's team, but he's just not a HOF.

Hayes and Harris.

Then Irvin.

Then Smith.

Then Allen.

One of the best FullBacks to ever play the game.

I voted he should be in...But he never will get in.
