Yeah, you are right. If you draft enough 7th rounders, at least one of them will be good. Great strategy.

If that were what I actually said, then you might have a point. Only you wouldn't, because you get players like Crayton, Ratliff, Tony Romo, Hurd, and Austin in the 7th round or lower if you know what you're doing.

This was hard for me to watch some players I really wanted going to other teams. But this IS how you build dynasties. We have our stars on our team already. I feel like this is a good way to draft this year.

Can you explain how...exactly...trading all your few high picks for more low picks is "how you build dynasties"? I must have missed that lesson.

Thats exactly what you said.

Trade down and gain a player like Scandrick or Choice in the process or stay put and draft Carpenter.

Is there something else you meant?

No need to get personal. It's just my opinion that you're overreacting to nothing and that you'd be better off to settle down and get some perspective. Things will be alright by the end of the day tomorrow, and even if they're not, you really aren't going to have a clue how good our draft haul ends up being until training camp starts.

He added the part about the trade downs being 7th rounders. Obviously.

If we trade #75 and #117 to Pittsburgh, we can draft Rashad Johnson at #64. I'm afraid Chicago will take him at #68 if we don't. We will still come out ahead with still having #101 and #110 in the 4th.

Idgit has more posts. Therefore, he must be right.

I'm not getting upset yet. This draft is very deep in the 2nd-5th rounds. Lots of good talent to be picked up there.

The problem is, we don't have many spots open. Where are going to fit 12 players? All we are doing is drafting players for other teams to sign after we cut them. Should've just taken the BPA.

this is why we have crap depth compared to so many other teams we just stock pile these late picks rather then take BPA, just take BPA and let them compete what's the worst the can happen we're not going to fit 12 player on this team anyways

I'm not upset with trading down per se, but we traded down too far and didn't get enough to do it imo.

I was going to go with 'Idgit isn't running around like a girlscout with her head on fire, therefore, he must be right,' but the more-posts things works, too.

If my grandma had a d!ck, she'd be my grandpa. It's hard to estimate that we'll get "4 to 5" solid players when none of them came higher than in the 3rd round.

She's had at least one, fortunately. Or we'd all be deprived of the wisdom of your posts.

Cool that she and your grandpa have something in common, though.

At least we know our first round pick was a bust.....all these other poor teams have to wait a few years to come to that conclusion.
