Is Romo afraid of Gurode's shotgun snaps?

Has anyone else noticed how Romo jumps a little big with every shotgun snap? It's as if he's afraid he can't handle the ball and I'm talking EVERY time. It makes me nervous. Fortunately, he has handled most of them well enough.

Shoot his snap makes me jump just watching Romo trying to snag that ball, it is going u,p both side, basically, everywhere, don't know where it's going so I could see why Romo jumps trying to figure out where the ball is going.

I was thinking about that earlier today.

Seems as if almost every shotgun snap is a little higher than it needs to be.

But I guess that is ok with the team as it is almost always the same height.

Some of them aren't snapped with enough authority. Romo expects a fastball but gets a changeup sometimes.

Snaps looked alright to me. Romo does not seem to have a problem.

Scares the heck out of me. He throws a 90 mile an hour fastball at Romo's face most of the time.

He has 1 bad snap other than that yes he is putting up around the face and Romo is handling it. Because it scares you does not mean it scares me, they work on this in practice and the snaps are getting to Romo quickly and right where he sees it without having to look down or scrape it off the turf. Will shotgun snaps go bad yes which is why Aikman did not like it and even the great Roger had problems with the shotgun snaps at time because they are not going to be perfect each time.

I don't know, but it sure concerns me each time....it is a accident waiting to happen.

I hope they continue to work as well but what gets me you know how Romo feels about the snaps? You put your feelings and place them on Romo. I have not heard Tony say 1 thing about the snaps. Most of the comments I see is how others feel yet when I say it does not scare me you want start with it is not how Doomseday 101 feels. You are putting your own feeling on this just as I am. Dallas has had 1 bad snap and now this is an issue? I don't think so.

i would think up around the face is where you would want the snap. low snaps are harder to handle and takes your eyes away from the field. he's had one bad snap all year. i think he is doing fine. they are not all in the same spot each time but very few shotgun snaps are. i see qb's all over the league having to go down to catch snaps. shotgun snaps are seldom perfect every time
