I know this kid who you would never think could produce a beat but he played some of his stuff for me one time and it was nuts. Got me all amped up so I downloaded some software and picked up a keyboard.

I suck.

Even though that beat is pretty weak in terms of music goes, I still respect the fact that he was even able to put it together.

The funny thing is, if Marty B or any other Cowboy made a goofy beat and the name of it was a reference to smoking weed, it would be all over ESPN and Goodell would probably suspend him. :laugh2:

And for anybody that is going to argue that he meant swimming when he said get my Michael Phelps on, he's a 400 pound african american. He does not swim, of this I am sure.

All athletes wanna be rappers. Rappers wanna be athletes. And they all wanna be actors. Give it up, please.

Interesting enough though, if this were Marty B, most here would probably love it.

These guys are gifted on a football field. They are respected and paid handsomely for it. But to think they belong in other realms of entertainment just because they can is a slap in the face of all who respect their talent as an athlete. Worse yet are the lemmings who support their indulgences as though they carry that same level of talent across the lines.

Go ahead and retire from football and pursue your "producer" fantasy if you're so gifted at it. It won't take you long to find out where your talent really lies.

hey now, as someone who listens to alot of rap, martyB's how bout them cowboys is not terrible, infact lyrically it is around the level of most songs that have been coming out this last year. now the quality of the rap as a whole has dipped in the last year or so too but martyBs isn't terrible, its actually pretty good.. especially in a world where people think lil wayne is a good rapper...
