Jerry Jones said last month that former Cowboys offensive lineman Marc Colombo was the “leader in the clubhouse” to become the team’s next assistant offensive line coach.

However, Arkansas coach Bret Bielema tweeted Monday morning that Steve Loney is headed to Dallas. The Cowboys have not confirmed any new moves to their coaching staff.

Before joining the Arkansas staff last season, Loney spent the previous six years as the offensive line coach in St. Louis and an assistant O-line coach in Tampa Bay. Loney also worked three years with Cowboys offensive coordinator Scott Linehan when Linehan was calling the offense in Minnesota.

I would think it remains to be seen what's going on with respect to Loney's visit. Needless to say, there's a big difference between "being headed to Dallas" to very possibly be interviewed and/or to report for employment.
