Has anyone heard any whispers about the T.O. situation?

What do you think about T.O. in Big D.

That would stick it to the Eagles.

Actually I think acquiring TO would be the Eagles sticking it to us.

Say it ain't so ...

The Palm Beach Post reports that Miami Dolphins head coach Nick Saban has expressed interest in acquiring wide receiver Terrell Owens in the off-season.

"It seems like such a natural fit: Owens would add another big-play weapon to the Miami offense, he could live in a place he knows well and loves, and he could be close to agent Drew Rosenhaus and listen to his sage advice. But head coach Nick Saban was very careful in his wording, and while this has turned into a rumor larger than it probably should, it's interesting"

Does this mean a possible Ricky Williams, or wide receiver Chris Chambers
trade?

If TO does make it to the Dallas negotiating table, who would you give up ...KeShawn?

Don't anyone go getting excited; this is just dialogue right now, ...but picture this ...someone is going to get TO in 2006 -- and you can take that to the bank!

New priorities emerging for Saban?
January 19
Miami Herald columnist Greg Cote (registration required): "Mighty talent outweighs maybe-turmoil, and so Miami should be interested in Owens, by trade with Philadelphia, if necessary, or via free agency, if Saban would risk some other team making a trade prior to the Eagles releasing him by March 1... There are more options with a veteran. Daunte Culpepper, David Carr and Drew Brees all have been rumored as possibly gettable."

I heard the interview on the Dan Patrick show yesterday..... Saban says he doesn't know Owens personally but he knows he can play.... Didn't sound to me like he was going to put an offer together! Media is making more out of this than anything.

I would be very surprised if the Fins traded anybody of value for TO. Why would they? I could see a 2nd day pick perhaps. TO will be released in all likely hood. If Miami waits, they could have him for nothing more then the mega contract it would take, possibly.

I wouldn't be surprised to see us shoot our wad on T.O. only to come up short next season and then have it blow up in our face.

I'd rather look at a longer term solution - but the only reason I think T.O. could be a possibly is BP being here 2 years or less. He just might want to go out in a blaze - all or nothing.

I'd love someone to explain to me how getting T.O. would be a cure all for our offensive problems, how he would help address the glaring protection problems we face with our offensive line and immobile QB. We need to get another WR, so I'm all for drafting a young one, but the first priority has to be fixing the O-line.

IMO Owens to the Cowboys is like money in the bank. If I were a cowboyz fan, first I'd take a shower and scrub with steel wool, then I'd go online and order a customized TO Cowboz jersey, then I'd go take a shower and scrub with steel wool again.

It appears Miami may be interested in TO. I honestly do not think Parcells will go after TO but then stranger things have happened.

Possible, but not probable. Dallas may have some interest, but not enough to get into a bidding war or trading war. He is not a high priority, but Jerry and Bill would not pass on T.O. if they could get a miraculously good deal for him. That probably won't happen. Another team will spend more money.

But if T.O. were to come to Dallas, that doesn't mean the Cowboys would just sit pat everywhere else. They will still try to fix the glaring weaknessess.

Earlier this season, I thought it was out of the question. However, when the media interviewed Jones, he basically implied that the Cowboys were not going to close any doors to such a possibility. Granted, that is in no way saying the team will sign or even look at signing TO. However, Jones could have said something to the degree that they TO was not in the Cowboys near future as some owners and GM's subtely imply in interviews.

So yeah, anything is possible.
