Is there a hotter team in the NFC than the Commanders? i hate to admit this but in my opinion the Commanders are a huge roll, i think they have won 6 in a row, with all the games being life or death for them.

they might be a little shaky at QB at times, but when they get Portis, Moss going and that Cooley guy making catches all over the place, they are tough to stop, and more importantly you factor that defense of theirs, i can easily see them knocking Seattle out this week, i know alot of people are picking Seattle to go all the way in the NFC, but im not sold on Seattle at all, i dont feel they were very impressive vs the NFC East this year, us and the Giants had them beat, and the Skins did beat them. if i were a betting man, i would bet the Skins and the Bears this week.

...play the games. Washington has made their own way to this situation in the playoffs and you can't take nothing away from them. They have had as good run to the playoffs doing the one thing all teams want to do - peak at the right time.

Both Washington and New England are in that category this year.

Ya gotta give 'em their props. They've taken care of business, and we didn't. As much as I dislike them, you have to respect them for playing good football.

You have got to be kidding?! Hot would imply kicking *** and taking names... the Commanders blew into Tampa Bay and SET THE NFL RECORD for the WORST OFFENSIVE OUTPUT in the HISTORY OF NFL PLAYOFF FOOTBALL. These stats tell the tale: Was v. TB
Tampa completely dominated them, except for two ridiculouos turnovers in the 1st qtr that led to 14 points, and Simms knack for getting his passes 'tipped' that day.

Good thing you are not a betting man, cuz the Skins are going to get CREAMED this weekend. Seattle will crucify them. Guaranteed. Spread is 10 and should be at least 14. Bears have a good chance, however Carolina is playing alot better than the last time these two played.

How is getting 41 passing yards make you confident going into a game? If the Cowboys did that this board would be in melt down. The whole page would be full of poles on who to sack and replace with.

Misery loves company.

The Skins were 5-6 and looking at a midround draft pick ... but with their season on the line EVERY week, they pulled together and beat everyone the NFL put in their way.

I give them props.

Wish we could have done the same thing.

Well, they beat them once, and they are playing much better now than then, so I certainly don't see why they can't beat them again. The Seahawks are notorious chokers and Gibbs rarely loses big games, so to me the smart money is on the Skins.

I think the Seahawks take the skins down this weekend. Getting the bye week I think will be a big help for the hawks and I think it will show in this game

The Skins are hurting pretty bad on D (Wynn and Springs the most recent injuries), and Seattle is good enough on defense to limit the Skins offensively.

The Skins got a couple of fortunate breaks on tipped balls and fumbles that allowed them to overcome a pretty poor performance last week.

The win early in the season was at Fedex, this game is in Seattle.

Everything seems to be lining up against the Skins for this one, which means they'll probably win. ;)

The skins won the games when they needed to...I don't care if it was ugly wins or pretty wins, they are still wins.

Now....I think the fairy tale run has ended...I think the clock is about to strike midnight for the cinderella team.

Also, I don't believe Holmgren has ever won a playoff game with Seattle yet.
I know they've been beaten by the Rams the last 2 years.

Tampa's defense is notorious for making offenses look bad.
