Is there any question that Malik Turner needs all of Noah Brown's minutes

Not in my mind there isn't....even Troy went on about him, which means something given how little we've seen him play. Who's to say that he couldn't be our poor mans Cole Beasley.....we've seen Browns ceiling for five (5) years now.

Honestly, Noah makes some decent catches but he seems to have a problem when the defender is on him. His 50/50 catches are more like 30/70, the 70 being a dropped or missed catch. jmho

 

Noah is basically a STer and depth/niche WR. He is never going to be someone who you rely on on offense. Your 5th WR is basically a STer, and Brown offer more than a typical 5th

They seem to be fairly equal players to me
Turner has developed into a decent depth player, much like brown
He probably has more upside than brown but it’s easy to have brown active for games because he does a lot on ST

 

Yep they are probably equal as receivers so then its about the other stuff....and as far as I can tell he's still a great blocker and still a solid ST player. For Turner to jump him he's going to have to get better in that stuff.

 

He's not quick enough to create separation.

 

Noah should add 10-15 lbs and become a hybrid TE/WR. Tremendous blocker and fast enough for a hybrid TE.

 

This topic should come after, "how good is our long snapper?"

 

Brown drops to many passes. He dropped TD passes in a few of our loses.

 

He looks like CeeDee Lamb without the athleticism out there.

 

Noah Brown needs to the blocker on all WR screens.

And any plays that requires TE to block.

Cowboys TEs are gawdawful blockers.

McGovern at TE blocks better in space than Schultz and McKeon.

 

For years now, the ONLY thing anyone can say good about Brown is that he can block....since when do you keep someone on the roster for that, given he may get 5 snaps per game???????

 

Put him at LG.

 

He had lots of drops in college too

 

Can he do the nose wipe thing?
