I'm not that cheap. I just happen to be a Fender guy, so I bought the Fender cheapy. (almost the exact same guitar as my first one back in the 80s minus the pick-guard and rosewood fret-board)

Im just saying Ive had both and lets just say i dont have the squier anymore.

I play a Fender Deluxe Strat after dabbling with Gibsons for a bit and I must say it was like coming home.

not much into fenders - too "routine" for me. but i've got a carvin bass, jackson dinky, entry les paul, agile and a ovation acoustic.

15" LA Bass Amp, Spider 210 amp and a marshall around here somewhere.

now if only i could play.

their is nothing routine about a deluxe HSS. Now i wish the humbucker was a bit more hot and i aim to remedy that but between that and my mesa i can literally get any sound i want.

really the difference to me was the washburns and gibsons were just too muddy on the fretboard. im just more comfortable on a strat neck.

my problem is im a gear junkie and i now have my eyes on an explorer now.

first of all let me be clear, that i do not want to trade up for D-Mac. when i say this i mean all the way up to #1 in the draft.

ok as far as the trade is concerned, We all know BP is gonna wanna trade out of the #1 pick, so if he offers their #1 for our #22, Barber with Spears OR Canty. is that an acceptable deal?

If you don't want to trade all the way up to #1 for DMac, who did you have in mind with this scenario??

BTW, the answer is NO.

No. It's not reasonable and it's not going to get it done and it's not going to happen.

I know alot of people are saying that Jerry said no to barber being traded already but what do you think he would say? YES I CAN'T WAIT TO GET RID OF HIM! I THINK MCFADDEN IS A 100X BETTER THEN HIM! CHARGE ME MORE TO MOVE UP BILL!
Of course he is going to act as though he feels Barber is a big part of our team. If he jumped at a chance to trade say Canty Barber and a 1st rounder then Billwould ask for more.
For those of you who say he wouldn't trade Barber for an unproven player lets look at Hershal Walker. Jerry loves to take risks.
