I've seen this a lot "once wade gets fired next year"

Is Wade getting fired a year from now pretty much a given?

Just as much a given as it was that if we didn't go to the Super Bowl this year, Garrett was taking over. Or that TO was staying because of the cap hit. Or that Garrett was the next vonder kid offensive mind.

If this team has a repeat of last season, Wade is gone and how Romo played will be closely evaluated....

Romo's contract is structured where it won't be very painful to release him after next season.

If the season plays out like that you can bet Holmgren will be in Dallas. If he can reel in Farve he can help Romo.

I think Wade has to win and do something in post season for him to remain.

Without some playoff success this year then, yeah, I think some one new is in here next year. I guess Wade wouldn't really be fired as much as he wouldn't be resigned.

Very few coaches retire. The odds Wade will get fired versus he will simply retire are like 450:3.

Contract runs out by the end of the season. If we stink it up by game 8 like 2-6 or 3-5 expect Garret to do the interm thing so Jerry can get a looksie at his original experiments. We're gonna be a .500 club if we don't have 1 of our top players out for the season. Romo, Ware, Witten or Roy Williams stay healthy we just miss the playoffs.

Jerry's going to find out that this defense won't look so good this year and that Ratliff to DE is the best thing. Igor also backs us up because Spears is in his last year of his rookie deal also. So yes it fills Canty's spot but that doesn't mean Ratliff stays as a NT on this team forever. That's why Igors a good signing for the $. Ratliff is our best d-lineman but we'll be looking for a NT next year if we don't get a good 1 to develop and spell Ratliff this year.
