It's not really fair to compare 2017 Dak to 2014 Romo. Romo had issues in 2008 too in his 2nd year as the full time starter. This is when JG tried to "fix" Romo's faults by trying to make him into more Brady like. I have a feeling same thing is happening to Dak this year. When he's just "playing" and not thinking too much, he is much better.

I think the comparison comes from what could Romo be doing now vs what Dak is doing, it's not a comparison on what could they do in their 2nd season as starters.
Saying that, Romo's body gave out, still would have loved to see him getting one last chance last year and maybe this year while Dak learned from him.
It is what it is I guess.

Last season I felt like I was cheating on my wife. This year Im 110% on board lol.

I feel like I divorced my wife for the new hotter woman, but I am getting that sinking feeling that I made a mistake and want my wife back. LOL

I like Dak, but Romo really spoiled us. Dak will never be Romo, Dak is Dak. Good or bad......

Part of me last year wanted Romo back so that he would get another chance to take us to the promise land. But another part of me wasn't sure if his body would hold up. It still pisses me off that we wasted his talent the time he was here. I'm afraid same thing might happen with Dak.
