It looks like Micah Parsons regrets being traded by the Dallas Cowboys

It was all over the interview on Micah Parsons by Clarence Hill at the 2025 NFL Season Pro Bowl. Plus, Micah couldn't help himself by constantly seeking out to hang around Dak, CeeDee, Pickens and the rest of the Cowboys there. Sad to watch...

Just because he has a good relationship with his former teammates and enjoys being around him does not mean he regrets being traded. Would Micah have been happy to get paid and stay in Dallas? Sure, he's made that clear. He and his agent even made a last-ditch effort to make that happen, when it was too late in Jerry's mind. Ultimately, like most players, though, he just wanted to be paid what his agent says he's worth.

These players look at the game much more from a business standpoint that fans do. Does George Pickens want to stay in Dallas? Sure, if he gets paid enough to do it. In that, he's no different than Parsons or any of the rest of them.

He definitely regret for leaving Dallas, and he knew his agent screw it up and he did it too. But the problem is that he didn't want to fire his agent and became a headcase at the time.

Contender? They went out as fast as we always go out, no difference.
I'm sure he feels it would have been different if he had been able to play.

I doubt he regrets anything. He got his bag. That was all he cared about.
These comments always make me laugh.

I absolutely believe he wanted to win and he realized it wasn't likely to happen here in Dallas.

It strikes me as odd that we acknowledge the fact this franchise appears rudderless but when a guy wants out, we immediately blame it on his greed and not the fact he's probably as aware as anyone how dysfunctional this organization is.

That's fine, you're entitled to your opinion.

But it makes me laugh when people think pro athletes care so much about those things instead of getting paid every dollar they can get.

He got paid and is on a contender. Win-win. Not surprised he is maintaining his good relationships in North Texas.
And if it gets to the point where Green Bay no longer wants to pay him what he's worth and Dallas does, he'd happily return to Dallas.

LOL, the Packers are a better franchise than us right now.
Not by much though. The recent playoff record is very similar to Dallas honestly. I still think they have better more stable coaching though and better decision makers at the top. They can also get better there when they’ve had enough while we can never do that.

Absolutely.

I took a new job in the same industry last May. My group chat is still my old work buddies; one of whom has also since left my former company.

It's a perspective that fans struggle to understand because they view the NFL through the lens of fans where players have to focus on the money until they make enough to not care.

Careers are constantly changing and the teams players play for do as well. If a player stays with a team for less money because their friends are there, how do they feel next year when those friends are released or traded?

As I mention quite often, NFL careers are short. Until players are near the end of their careers, they are (and need to be) focused on maximizing their earnings because for most players their earnings are going to drop considerably once their career ends.

That means they need to follow the money until they are wealthy enough (if they ever reach that point) to be able to select teams based on Super Bowl chances, location (state), friends, etc.

I'm sure on some level Parsons would love to still be in Dallas, but I'm sure he's happy in Green Bay and, more importantly, he's happy with the money they paid him.

Just another reminder anyone in the media will pick up any tidbit, morsel, or crumb of a nonstory and run with it.
When they know there are people out there that need for certain nonsense things to be true, they'll get takers left and right. Why stop when people can't help themselves?

Right. Even if he doesn't love Green Bay itself (who would?), it's all about making all that you can playing the game that you love. Eventually, it may become about best opportunity to win a Super Bowl ring, but like you said, that has to come after financial security.
