They say that when this draft is over there will be at least 20 DTs that go undrafted that normally would be.

Many mid rounders are expected to end up starters. Time will tell...

3 picks on FRI would be nice is R2/R3. Myles Jack or Jaylon Smith in R4/comp. Think we have to take Dodd at 34 and prefer Jeremy Cash at 67. Any tradeback and collecting all 3 will make a super FRI.

We are going to be able to draft a starting caliber player tomorrow. WIth a little luck a SS falls to the 3rd and we can get 2. I don't think Cash fits what we do though..

I think he would work and they got a good look at him. Sua Cravens might be another option.

I love Cravens, just concerned of his speed and ability or inability to cover receivers in the NFL. Similar concern with Killebrew. Cravens and Killebrew are hitters and tacklers - will NFL receivers become too fast for them?

If Carolina can pick Vernon Butler despite having Star Lotulelei and Kawann Short, we can pick a DT.

But there are so many, we will be able to find them in the next two rounds too.

can never have enough DT's in the rotation. Draft Billings

I agree we can still draft another DT but it's just not as bare as DE. Crawford shld be healthy. Added Thornton, Mcclain might finally be a producer, been waiting to see what Whaley can do. Then we have a bunch of guys that can play DT or DE but aren't really the type of DE's we need so we will likely use them at DT like Jack Crawford, David Irving and last years draft pick Russell.

We need DE's and secondary help. Hopefully we don't squander the picks on a 3rd tier qb.

True but Spence or Ogbah would fill huge needs and they have the talent to back it.

Agreed. Hoping for DE or CB early here. If they look at Jacks knee and determine that he might be worth the risk that would be great too.

word here in Carolina is that Star will not get a second contract. Panthers just drafted his replacement. They are planning long term.

Sounds like Microfracture surgery will be needed for JAck.

At some point. It sounds like the thought is he might need surgery at some point. Would the surgery fix the issue? If so here is a chance to get a top level talent with a 2nd rd pick. Admittedly, I am not a doctor so I don't know.

I'm tired of playing this Bruce Carter / Chaz Green game.

I want available players and i'm tired of making exceptions on injured guys.

Give me a player I can watch in September.

Considering what we are paying those two they better be answers.

Only 9 miilion of Thornton's deal is guaranteed. I don't think we're tied to him like we are Crawford, and should absolutely go 1T if BPA calls for it, in my opinion.
